Your vids are still some of my favorite. That was an epic last fishing day of 2023 especially for December. I still have such little confidence in the blade. Which is crazy because I have a lot confidence in lifting the trap. So many of my river smallies will be tight to wood so that’s gonna be challenging. 😅. Thank you so much, that means a LOT! You’ll have to try bladebaiting some time. It’s a lot of fun just like lifting a trap. It straight up catches them when it’s cold. A lot of our fish get tight to wood this time of year too. I love dragging a jig as well when they’re on wood really tight
