my carry is a 43x with the shield arms 15 rounder with the shield arms metal (i think its aluminum) mag release. i also have an apex flat face trigger - really helps. i got real bad trigger bite on the stock trigger and night sights. its a banger
Got both 43X & 48 and the 48 is a more accurate shooter for me. Actually the 48 is the same side profile as 19 not the 43X.Also the stock trigger gets really sweat after 600 rounds down range & it didn't hurt my finger one bit.
Lenny, Sir, you make some very interesting points with the Glock firearms. Point 1, I really like your videos and, I need more pistols. God bless America and, 2-A. Really, I think I would like to have a 43X Looks like a great EDC. I think, I need a vacation at your store. Blessings your way sir.
Well, I decided to trade in my G43, which was my EDC but I still have my G48 which is basically the same size as the G19 but is a single stack 10 round gunI I don't see any real advantage you have with the G43X with a shorter barrel length and the G48, IMO has a slight advantage and I find it to be a bit more accurate to handle & Shoot! I'm Glad I kept my G48!
43x Slightly easier to carry. Ive had both. My g48 had a pretty nice setup though it looked awesome with tall night sights & 20rd mag. Was gonna get a threaded barrel & trigger that would’ve completed it but i sold it. Gun just doesn’t make sense vs 43x they shoot almost identical & the bigger Glocks defeat the size/barrel sight radius argument. With my 17 & 43x It’s gonna be a LONG time before i buy another glock lol
Be aware, Glock Store in CA is making changes, shifts to the new Nashville TN location. I was told on a recent TN trip, 05 2022, they do not do Glock cerakote/Robar NP3/gunsmithing. GS may need 3-4mo to get everything going.
I have the same gun with a must which is the Shield 15 round magazines!!!! I carry all the time sometime fall asleep with it on me lol also Hague slip on grip!!
Trigger is awful. I recently started carrying the 43X MOS after mostly carrying the P365 since 2018 and I am currently in the market for a new trigger. I am leaning towards the Agency Arms trigger since they use the stock trigger bar keeping the reliability. But I will have to look into the pyramid trigger as well. Also went with the Glock night sights and the 507K red dot. I can see the sights in the bottom 1/3 or so of the window which is perfect for me. I didn't want a tall sight blocking the window. Trigger is probably all I will change from this point. I bought the shield arms mag catch and gen 2 mags but after hearing about the issues people are having I'll stick with the factory mags until the issues are resolved.
You’re a skilled and knowledgeable presenter, and have an absolutely incredible business. Here is my contention. Glock has been one of the largest handgun manufacturers in the world for the last 40 years, supplying equipment to police military and civilians for mission critical applications. They operate under an ethos of simplicity and reliability, and every component of that firearm must withstand their stringent requirements at massive scale. I’ve been at the range, and seen guys who have these modded out glocks, always fiddling with them, oh the tension, the trigger, the this the that. For me, on a concealed carry, the only thing I care about is when I pull the trigger it goes off. 99.9999% of my concern. If some modification offers some percentage of incremental improvement in performance but compromises the built in system integrity even .0001%, it is a no brainer off limits for me. glock 43x is my daily carry. Am I wrong in my thinking? Would genuinely value your input
You’re correct. It’s a marketing play though, he makes money if people buy the aftermarket parts. The only thing I change on my Glocks are the sights. I always say that if you mess with the internals then it’s not a Glock anymore
Same here. 15 round PSA mag and some different recoil springs for the range. In EDC mode it’s a green dot and flashlight that I put on when I get home.
I've been going back and forth between the 43x, the FN Reflex, and the Hellcat pro. Being a Glock guy already .....20,19x, 42......I've settled on the 43x for an EDC.
Yea, I purchased a 43x this week to be my CCW firearm. It is my first ever Glock firearm, but that's the main thing I read in the internet. The second you start modifying/swapping parts, especially internal, you're compromising reliability and dependability. Therefore, I am only making 1 modification to mine, and that is putting a set of tritium diamond speed sights on them. Besides that, I'm gonna let my Glock be a Glock, and get to the range to practice!
bought my 1st Glock this week a 43X MOS cant wait to start making it better ... I might even buy another one this time the none MOS so I have 1 of each ...
Great gun. That said, I prefer the G26 for concealed carry as it feels better in my hand (the G43X grip is too thin for my liking), has less recoil, is more concealable even with the Pearce Grip PG-26 grip extension, and accepts Glock 15, 17, 24 and 33 round mags. Would be nice if they put a rail on the Gen5 G26 MOS (are you listening Gaston?).
Awesome video, Lenny. I own several different Glocks, incuding the G27, which I used to carry. I also own the G42 and G43. I must say I've spoiled myself the small G42 to the point I notice a difference between it and the G43 on IWB carrying. I basically stick to the G42 at the moment. About the only thing I haven't yet configured on my carry is where to carry my spare mags.
@@getspooled8684 I agree. Does a 9mm have more stopping power than a .380, and a .45 more stopping power than a 9mm? Sure. But like you said, .380 is sufficient. I do carry hollow points.
@@getspooled8684 That different calibers have different levels of stopping power is precisely why I would be the first to say there may be an application where you don't want to carry a .380. That said, given the way .380 handguns are very concealable compared to other calibers, there are plenty of situations where you may only want to carry one. I know the Glock 42 is way more comfortable for me to carry than is the Glock 43. I noticed the difference in the size of the gun.

It’s funny I bought a Glock store holster as my first holster when I started carrying. After many years, hundreds of dollars, and every style of holster imaginable I still just use the glock store Kydex
The S&W M&P Shield Plus is where it’s at. Smaller grip, better grip texturing, iron sights (not plastic), holds more rounds and shoots better. And I am a Glock fanboy.
basically, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. check out psa micro dagger mags, haven’t failed on me for 1500 rounds. bought the shield arms s15 mags and couldn’t finish a mag w/o jams
1:24 Ummm... A 43X will not footprint a 19. The 48 is the same silhouette as a 19... The 48 actually has a longer barrel than the 19, but is slightly shorter over all. The 43X is quite a bit shorter than either the 19 or 48... 6.5" vs 7.36 for the 19, 7.28 for the 48.

Best part of 43x? Shield arms magazines with aluminum magazine catch. 15 + 1 capacity in a slim frame.
reliability issues though
Or get the fn reflex
@@TheWhiteHawk27mine runs flawlessly with the gen 3 shield arms s15 mags
@@mikeboyentertainment9627 maybe but there are plenty of guys on RUclips and gun forums that have ran extensive tests that say otherwise. Maybe u are lucky
Mr Lenny Magill Strikes Again With a Another Fantastic Video Love The 43 X And All Glock Guns. Stay healthy mr Lenny Magill …Glock Store San Siego.
At this point It would definitely be nice if we could get a frame with a Glock 26 upper and Glock 19 grip. Double stack mag of course.
Or a 26 lower and a 19 upper....
@@stoneblue1795 from the factory? If you got them on hand you can swap a 26 upper for a 19 upper on a 26 lower
That would be a G26 with a G19 mag and an X-Grip. That's the beauty of the G26.
Lenny I suggest that you make these available in your store special option. special order with color option and I would buy one. Build just the way yours is.
my carry is a 43x with the shield arms 15 rounder with the shield arms metal (i think its aluminum) mag release. i also have an apex flat face trigger - really helps. i got real bad trigger bite on the stock trigger and night sights. its a banger
Add the Hogue slip on grip from Amazon u will love it
@@rogerl8488 man of my own heart. I literally have the hogue grip and it’s such a great mod.
The best upgrade….
Shield arms with the 15 round magazine for the 43x and the 48. Makes this a whole new level of every day carry
Itd be cool if you did a gun weight before and after.
Obviously its not super important, but just to know what ur gaining or losing.
Outstanding! Thanks Lenny and the crew!🤘🏽🤘🏽
That is grate that you changed your trigger to a pyramid trigger. I only ordered and pay for mine almost 3 months ago for my 43x MOS and still waiting
The gen 2 SA mags still haven't eliminated the problems?? Ah man...
Thanks for that unbiased review.
Totally agree. A modded glock will hurt you in court.
Won't all of these upgrades affect reliability? Isn't that the major selling point of glock?
None of these upgrades beyond the sights are necessary. They keep him in business.

Get that money
bought my 1st Glock this week a 43X MOS cant wait to start making it better ... I might even buy another one this time the none MOS so I have 1 of each ...
I like the 6lb trigger pull. Requires intent.
one things for sure youre good at what you do Lenny
There are 2 aftermarket mag manufacturers that supply 15 round mags for the 43X and 48.
I love the LOK holster for my 43X. I would love to add a reddot, but I long for a LOK holster that would accommodate the 43X.
You carry a .380? Naw bro naw too small a caliber . And I know you’re gonna say you’re a good shot but doesn’t matter
@@cryptobra5933 be a target sheet
.380 is great for carry, not sure what you are talking about. Ever been shot by one? It’s not a good time at all
@@getspooled8684 I agree.
43x is my edc. Love it.
Yep!! I have a 43x and it's awesome!!
Very manageable, light. I think I will eventually get a leather holster, and check it out. I've never tried leather.🇺🇸😊
Leather's great. Definitely worth a shot... but it seems like most people prefer kydex in the end (for the positive retention).

Love your videos and your knowledge, definitely looking into that trigger.
Went back to glock after having a xmacro, now im carrying a tan 43x. .more accurate than my sig, more trusted than my sig
Great video as usual Lenny..I have a G26 Gen 5 that I have in my rotation..I got my son a 43x. They truly are nice..I’m gonna be in the market for one as well..can I have the pistol sent to your store for the same upgrades? 👊🇺🇸
It’s funny I bought a Glock store holster as my first holster when I started carrying. After many years, hundreds of dollars, and every style of holster imaginable I still just use the glock store Kydex

oh hell yeah you got a nashville store now. I'll come check it out.
The S&W M&P Shield Plus is where it’s at. Smaller grip, better grip texturing, iron sights (not plastic), holds more rounds and shoots better. And I am a Glock fanboy.
Mags don’t hold 13 as advertised. Very hard to break in mags and slide.
@@Thesusoperator Both my 10 and the 13 round magazines seem to be normal, as in easy to load.
@Izzyrodthegod My 2.0 9mm was hard to load as well.
I saw a new LE model Shield .45acp 2.0. It has 3 dot night sights, ported barrel.
@@Thesusoperator They do hold 13, with effort. Let's say it was 12. Still two rounds more than the 43x.
Just bought a 43x MOS. Love it! Stock trigger seems fine to me.
Why doesn't Glock make their own 15 round magazine for the Glock 43X?
basically, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. check out psa micro dagger mags, haven’t failed on me for 1500 rounds. bought the shield arms s15 mags and couldn’t finish a mag w/o jams
I carry the 43x. Shot the Shield 9, 365 and the 43x and the 43x just felt the most comfortable to shoot.
More comfortable than the shield 9????
Awesome EDC glock lenny! I have the same EDC as lenny
I love my 43x with a kydex holster.

Ummm...
Where do I find these two holsters?
The 43x is not the same profile as the 19 it’s closer to a 26 upper and a 19 lower in profile. The 48 is much closer to the 19 in profile.
yeah bro you have all the answers😂😂 yeah
