Took me ages to work out that it was Ibrox stadium at 3.42. The other two stadiums in the foreground threw me. Just found out that the one on the middle was the Albion greyhound track. Don't know what the one closest to camera was... possibly connected to Bellahouston athletics?
@@colinburrowes8063 That would be around the time I watched them as a 13 year old. Hampden held over 100k then so it was always going to seem empty. I'll never forget that Castrol R smell though.

White City, home of the Glasgow Tigers, closed in 1972.
@@colinburrowes8063 Thanks Colin. I used to watch Glasgow Tigers race at Hampden in the 70's. I guess that must have been after White City closed.
@@brecklander I watched the Tigers 71-72, with Jim McMillan and Bert Harkins, just a shame the crowds weren't bigger.

@@brecklander I was the same age 13-14, watched the Tigers at Coatbridge and Blantyre, but it wasn't the same, Hampden was ideal.
