I really want to play the saxophone, but a clarinet is way cheaper and a friend gave me one for cheap. This video has really inspired me to keep with the clarinet, playing music like this is my dream. You nailed it!
Haha I'm doing the same thing! I've always wanted to learn saxophone, but clarinet is much cheaper so I'm gonna pick one up. I'm excited though, hope it's going well!
I was in middle school and I was in the music class , I played the clarinet as well , I remember we did a regional contest amongst schools , and my clarinet class played this , I and 2 others in the group were supposed to play the main part ... I was so nervous for playing in front of people but in the end I pulled it off perfectly , so did the others and we won the first place and finally brought a medal to our school xD yeah , the clarinet class , the underdogs won with this song , brings back memories , well played , and I still love this song , thank you for uploading it
I also played Clarinet in school. In a little country school we had an awesome teacher that made me learn this song front to back I hated that he made me play this song for district honor band. I won first chair and fell in love with this song. I got first chair a few times thanks to Take Five. We where lucky to have those moments. Great memories and great times
I played this in junior high on Clarinet my band teacher Mr Morrison made me practice what seemed like forever every day for weeks. I played this to audition for a competition and got first chair. Was my go to song for all auditions after that. Got me first chair many times. Thank you Mr Morrison. Music had been a huge influence in my life all starting with him in the 5th grade.
I have been practicing this for weeks trying to perfect it. Thank you for making a fun way to play during summer when I don't have band assignments to keep me coming back!
Excellent! I started learning the clarinet a few months ago after playing string instruments for twenty-something years. I gained a whole new appreciation for wind instruments. Getting a sound that's dense yet relaxed sounds a lot easier than it actually is in practice... that I'm learning the hard way (;

and you can take it everywhere
So get really good and buy a soprano sax. If you can rock the clarinet, it should be easy for ya.
I really want a soprano sax
