I play rec with randoms a lot bcoz basically i dnt have to play in a structured system, its more fun bcoz i get to play how i want. No confusing zone, less stagnant offence where i just have to play a spotup and dont get dotted on my cuts. But everything you have said is 100% agreed with in my opinion.

Solo REC player myself 95% of the time, I swear had a similar game in the REC myself yesterday, we was up by 5 with a little over 30 something seconds on the clock, I managed to get the inboud pass and was running the shot clock down, I kid you not my own team hit me with a timeout, the guy launched the ball up court for a TO, they got a three on the same possession, then the ball got launched up the court on the inbound pass like yourself for a TO and, once again hit a three and ended up losing the game. Seriously what is wrong with some of these people man, its like everyone is trying to be a highlight reel on every possession. Just pass the ball and play smart basketball instead of complicating everything, Im always a PF player myself, just let the PG do his thing.

if anyone sees this, remember this. Never, and I mean NEVER think that a play revolves around you. A play revolves around the entire team, so if it’s all about “go to the corner” then that isn’t their fault that you’re losing, it’s your fault. A better way to get good plays is to say “get open” meaning get open by any means so you can pass the ball and get easy points, going to the corner doesn’t work against people that play defense well (me for example) and ALWAYS trust your team, I’ve seen people miss one shot and never get the ball again the entire game, I always pass it to whoever is open, I’ve won so many games just by trusting my team, if you’re nice, they’ll know not to shoot if it they know they can’t make it
My biggest complaint be when I have a PG that don’t wanna be a PG and a Center that can’t play defense or get boards that shit make playin wit randoms damn near impossible

A better way to get good plays is to say “get open” meaning get open by any means so you can pass the ball and get easy points, going to the corner doesn’t work against people that play defense well (me for example) and ALWAYS trust your team, I’ve seen people miss one shot and never get the ball again the entire game, I always pass it to whoever is open, I’ve won so many games just by trusting my team, if you’re nice, they’ll know not to shoot if it they know they can’t make it
My biggest complaint be when I have a PG that don’t wanna be a PG and a Center that can’t play defense or get boards that shit make playin wit randoms damn near impossible
When I get randoms like that, I automatically assume they’re 10 year old kids and that stops me from getting mad lol
