- These are 9 tips to help you to become a better shooter in nba2k. When it comes to shooting in nba2k it can be a daunting task. If your tired of saying how do I shoot in nba2k thn Follow these nine shooting tips in order to knock down more jumpshots in nba2k.
If you are struggling to hit your shots in the rec center park theater or pro am than definitely give this video a full watch thru as i am sure you will find at least one or two tips that you did not think about when it comes to shooting in nba2k. Also be mindful of these randoms, they are still out here doing randoms things especially in the rec center. if you run rec with randoms like i do thn i totally feel your pain. and in that case it is probably more of a reason to watch this video thru and learn how to become a better shooter in nba 2k because them randoms is def going to clog that paint and done off any type of inside game your trying to get popping.

this is the best shooting tip video for this game. with this game there’s a whole bunch of factors that play in that will change your shot. you basically have to anticipate the shooting animation and contest you’ll get before you shoot due to the delay on 2k servers. you covered everything I can think of with this new shooting system. another thing i can think of if you shoot before your feet are set on a catch and shoot it’ll give you a faster jumpshot compared to when you catch the ball wait a second for the feet to set and then shoot it’ll be the jumpshot you all are expecting but if you on the shoot button before the set it’ll be a faster jumpshot. same thing while moving with the ball. if you have a lot of space better to set your feet but if someone is closing out and you have the space better off trying to get the shot off fast but you have to anticipate the and get used to the release while shooting fast because it’s all different.

even when it’s not a moving shot standing shots have different releases depending on whether you set your feet or not. lol it also took me a whole season for me to find the jumper for me and i refuse to take the meter off due to the different shot speeds. i needed to find the jumper the goes best with my muscle memory i don’t care i had to find one and i did i make most of my shots now i always try to find the jumper with the highest green window but which ever suits me. SO IMMAA PF Bjelica Base & Randle both upper releases. A charm for timing for me i dont know how people even play with this type of lag on 2k. i always get lag spikes every game and i’m wired
@@DonChubz that’s just cuz 2k servers are terrible. If possible I would say try using a monitor if u have access to one as it helped me immensely with dealing with lag.

My method on if I’m good wit Ah shot is the 5 for 5 rule. Both corners both hash shots and the top. Then I fade to both sides and that let me know if I like the shot or if I’m good wit that.

On my career games I’m cold, on rec my threes are off every time and my dude plays with no confidence, any tips
I’d say: 1. Turn the difficulty of ur my career games to HOF, if u can hit on HoF u can def hit in rec. 2. Practice the rec timing in the Gatorade facility.

What do you mean by monitor? I typed PS4 monitor into Amazon and got a bunch of TV screens.
U can get a dedicated gaming monitor. But any cheap desk top monitor works from my experience I’m using a cheap dell monitor

It is most certainly the issue. Just try hitting up the pro am arena and get the timing down.

Have any suggestion for a monitor? Brand, size, specs... I've tried every other option to this point. Faster internet... everything wired... newest and lowest lag impute controllers... so far nothing is consistent. If I have low or manageable latency I can shoot, dribble and D up with the best of em. Soon as you get that play in the slow mo BS or whatever anti gravity stuff going on recently in rec i can look like it's my 1st day on 2k. Lol!!
Anyway... any tips in what to do to counter the 2k servers I'm in favor.
Honestly I ain’t even using no crazy type of monitor it’s just some basic Dell joint. When I get home ima check it out tho n tell u the specs
@Luckyz Corner from reading on them, the refresh rate makes the biggest difference. You want to be at least 120HZ. To get the least amount of lag. I've kinda searched a little. I'm trying to decide how I will set it up if i do get one. I'm pretty sure I'll do it soon just because. Lol!!
If you wanna get some run-in, let me know. I'm Munstar18. I'm extra solo. Running the 200 rec games for this season quest was a struggle. Had a bunch of me and 4 AI against a squad. Even having 1 decent teammate makes all the difference in the world. Won a few games with 1 or 2 teammates against full teams. Hell, I almost pulled a couple out solo.

As far as the monitor goes I deff say get one. From my experience I could feel the difference with in the first few minutes on it

Oh na u can get super in-depth over there. Like u can legit create a player with ur my players same stats n sigs n jumper and just go into practice and use him there with a rebounder as well
Is an 82 3pt good enough for moving threes
82 is ok u can def hit with it. But I believe if u bump it up to an 83 u can get silver agent 3 which activates on moving 3s.
If u got lan cable connected to yoir system u can green wi the meter easily

Never miss bro lol. I would def agree turning that meter off will help you. Cause if you go against a dude like me As a all around play making lock. I’m gonna memorize: 1, your tendencies , your release meter after I let you green one to know what to look for on an open shot. And ima bait your life away till you quit. But if it’s off you might get away with not looking open cause the guys don’t know what your shot speed is capable of. Nobody really tries to watch body movements if your meter is on . Imagine when it’s off. Def bums are so used to using their meter they don’t know how to guard a guy that doesn’t have one. It’s foreign to them, then they quit. Sorry for the rant gang 🤣 very planting is key as fuck
