Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodworking, ties it all together. We also do a lot of epoxy projects as well as woodturning.

This is really cool, Carl! Interesting way to use the carving gouge to mark out for your bead. I believe you when you say this took lots of sanding! LOL! So worth it in the end. Very nice, unique vase! 😀

Beautiful vase, Carl! You are one fine artist with a good sense of design. Letting the ink fully dry is good to know.
I really like my little air saw. The two-stage trigger is a bit tricky, at times (paralyzed hands) but once it gets going, well, you're right in that it's like drawing. I do prefer to run it right against the wood if I can for a smooth cut. You had good hand bracing. Same principle.
About the hacksaw blade, I've wondered about that exact video for years. I'm not the safety police so I'm not going to criticize it. But I'm glad you spoke on it here. :)

Thank you very much!! I don't think it's the same thing. This Walnut oil is tripled boiled to take all the protein out, that's why it dries. I'm not sure about the oil at Walmart, but this stuff; even if you have a Walnut allergy, it won't effect you.
