Each colour has a corresponding face (i.e. pink shapes will always have the kaomoji with the flower symbol) so colourblind folks can match faces together instead. Pretty great accessibility, honestly.
I looked at the top five comments and nobody mentioned it, but it looks like in the shape selection screen there might be an option to make the shapes be the progression rather than the colors. At least, that's how I'm interpreting the circle with the arrow pointing to the triangle.

As a colorblind person, the faces are the easiest thing for me. If it was just colors, I would hate playing this.
