i'm eating some viennetta as i type...finally after all these years i can go to the market and purchase me a ice cream loaf of this delicious ice cream that i always wanted to eat as a kid but mom would never buy it...i so remember this commercial making this stuff look so good
Cornetto was created by Spica in Italy in 1959. But Magnum was created in Denmark in 1987 and Viennetta in England in 1982. Algida was taken over by Unilever in 1974 and since then has been selling many of Unilever's icecreams. So if Algida sells the "real" Viennetta, so do all the Unilever brands in other countries.

Algida is not the "real" name, it's the Italian name of the ice cream brand owned by Unilever.
