@Jagaimo_chan skyfish were a cryptid from the early days of photography that would show up in finished photos as long creatures with multiple wings. It was speculated that the reason they had never been observed before is because they moved too fast for the human eye to see. In truth they they were just bugs that got motion blurred by the long exposure times of early cameras.

最近英語吹き替えで２３話まで全部見たけど、ダンジョン飯は世界観が西洋的だからこれはこれで雰囲気に合っていて違和感なく見れた。
次はドイツ語吹き替えで視聴する予定。進撃の巨人のドイツ語吹き替えはなかなか良かったから、こっちも楽しみ。
The way Senshi spoke at the end was exactly like the way Eldenring's teller spoke, and it was a good performance that highlighted the Golden Hills.
This was definitely the best episode for me. So much lore and humor I always wanted

0:42 dub Marcille absolutely killed it with that line, the perfect blend of annoyance and sharp anger at someone who needs to be told "no".
Edit: after watching more scenes, dub Marcille is a lot more snippy with Laios and uses harsher words.
Dub Marcelle is amazing, and its her first time doing voice work. Same actress that played nami in Live action One Piece.
To be fair, Japanese tend to show their dislike in a far more subdued manner. For example, saying "chotto..." (yes, elipsys are part of it, you should say it as if cutting off) translates to "Well..." while in Japanese the meaning is "I don't like it." To say "Kirei desu" means "It is dislikeable" but can essentially mean "I hate it". If you note in most Japanese shows, when something isn't likeable they tend to passively criticize or make objective remarks, meanwhile, if they state they hate something outright, it is a moment over the topness.
Naturally, English comes across as snippy when translated.
@@axelwust9376 thanks for the insight. I don't speak Japanese, but I got the impression that certain things are only implied in the language, rather than outright spoken. So any words of disdain feels more subdued when reading the subtitles compared to listening to the English. But I suppose the idea is the same between both.
Furthermore that's not Emily's normal voice. She had a different voice for Marcille which perfectly fits her

surprisingly good english dub, i didnt thought it will be that good, and its saying i, who hate english dub, and adore japanese voices. One of the rarest cases in terms of dub, belive me. In fact its the the third time, if anyone interested, ff 12 english dub a lot better then japanese voice, second is hikaru no go anime, its really shit japanese voice, and third is this one.
If I don't see sky fish with colgera music...
