when i was 12 i made a promise that if i made it through the school year i would watch this video (think of it as a milestone) it was the final day of 6th grade. i came home, put my backpack in my closet and immediately watched this. gravity falls is what got me through it. i had no will to live, very few friends. summer was when i could finally be happy. this video gave me peace, it gave me the feeling of "i made it"
being a (former) college student now it gives me such nostalgia, i was a sad middle school kid who wanted to die. but if i did i wouldnt be writing this. this is honestly surreal.

Mabel was literally so depressed and heartbroken about not being able to grow up with Dipper, like she was losing her best friend.
