I just love how much the song opens up at 0:51, it makes the lyrics “skim the in-between” work so well.

In the past, I found myself so concerned with pleasing the people around me that I never expressed my own needs for fear of being burdensome. People pleasing is detrimental. You cannot build a personality on it. You end up afraid to say or express anything contrary, always apologizing, like a living apology.

Wow, what you've said is so insightful. I remember living in that kind of misery. I learned there's a difference between fitting in and belonging. Additionally, fitting in is never a substitute for belonging. Belonging is where you show up and you are accepted, and you matter. Fitting in is being what you think others need you to be and it doesn't matter if you're present or not...

Finally I found a band to replace as it is, these band is of course different. But the vibe is the same. Atleast for me. Great band. Love the characteristic between as it is and this band. Each has different and unique characteristic

I feel like the last album the whole band has much different elements compared to this new one. The instruments seems to have more of a less is more approach while the vocals kinda carry the songs along. Where as I felt feel something the instruments were the guiding force behind the flow of the songs. Anyways I enjoy movements and what they create
