I know you probably won't see this as its an older video but I did watch when it was new. I've returned to watch several times as I usually watch a video of yours before sitting to paint. I just want to say that I've painted in other mediums for many years but opaque ones and transitioning to transparent watercolors has been a real challenge to how my brain works and I've learned more from you in that respect than any other artist on the tube. You show and explain very, very, well. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the wonderful video which is so clear and concise. I am finding card purchases so expensive and felt l wanted to make my own and personalise them, as l love painting this is a great idea. What talent you have plus you are an excellent teacher ⭐️
Your voice is soothing. Very nice work; thanks for sharing. Difference between me as an artist & me as a non-artist is my fear of experimentation, and that fear comes from not wanting to waste good paint and good paper on ugly work (during the learning process). 😅
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE your color palettes. Absolutely love the playfulness of the violet. It is because of you that I have added a punch of color that doesn't belong in my paintings. The effect really makes the paintings pop. I see architecture in your style. I took architecture in school and I see it in your trees and signature.
thank you, Jennifer. yes, the violet is a little trick i discovered a few years ago when i painted a portrait with pan pastel. i keep forgetting about it maybe because it's sometimes easy to overdo it. you just need a little. your comment about architecture is quite interesting -- i am a huge fan of architecture and design since i was a child. it's interesting that you detected that. have a beautiful and creative day!
I found you about 2 yrs ago just doing your doodles. But I enjoy your WC tutorials even more. i can actually reproduce what you teach and am making wonderful progress in my painting. Thank you for providing professional instruction to us beginners! God bless you girl :)
Hi. I'm Karen, and I've been learning a lot from watching you. I'm very new to water color and I'm loving it. Because I can see my progress and it's exciting. It's very addictive as well. I've watched some of you're videos more than once. This one's I've watched 3 times. It's beautiful. I just want to thank you very much for sharing you're talent. Karen from Canada.
Love your sentiment about making it fun. When you add that emotion to a painting, others feel it when they look at it. After all that is what art does. It incites emotion.
I love this loose water painting and that's what I like in water painting. You do it so easily! One question: when you write with your pen, the way you hold the pen, can you see what you write?
I watched this a few weeks ago but didn't save it! I looked for it and found it. I couldn't stop thinking about the techniques you used and the colors. I already have some Renesans paints on my Christmas list. Beautiful project - Can't wait to try it.
I follow a lot of watercolor artist but I really love following along with yours! Playful, vivid colors and you help me be OK with some small mistakes and work around them. Thanks for making these available!
These are so beautiful, I think there is nothing nicer than creating your own art work for greetings cards. I love the composition as well with the sentiment and the colors of the trees are amazing. Really beautiful work and inspirational as ever, Eleanor xx
This is so different for me, as I like to paint details. But, I am trying to learn to loosen up my painting, and can't wait to give this a try. I bought the Arches rough paper and did not like it, so this will be a great way to use it up. Thanks for the super tutorial!
I love them! I'm pretty much new to watercolor and I think I can do this. I'm such a detail person that this style pushes me to go outside the lines, literally. lol
I really want to give this a try! Beautiful! I love your approach to watercolor landscape painting! I'm bad at it and therefore I hate to paint them. Thanks for sharing 💕💕💕
Wonderful, I learn something each time I watch you and also find these videos very calming. I am waiting for my plastic wrap painting to dry....looking forward to it!
Love your work! I definitely will give this a try! Cards like this are appreciated much more than store-bought cards! Thank you so very much for sharing your technique! 👍🏼 ❤️
What a clever idea to paint 1 painting symmetrically and then cut it up the middle and VOILA! you have 2 cards, done once, and they're not identical. I'll have to remember this...
Another wonderful video and awesome explanation of what you're doing. You know you make this look very easy! I'll have to give it a go with my cheap watercolor paper. heehee. take care ~~rita
Just breathtakingly wonderful!!!!! I just love watching you work your magic..... always an inspiration to me 🌸 Thank you so much for sharing ⭐️✨❤️😊 xxxxx
Beautiful... I really want to try Renesans but we have no suppliers in the uk that stock it. Postal cost from Poland is extortionate - Going to have to see if any of my Polish friends are going home for the holidays.
Just delightful! I am 73 been painting 40 years. Thank you.

I like your no-bullshit tutorial style. This is the greatest compliment I have ever left on a video. I might even give it thumbs-up.
Your light touch is mesmerizing.
Just lovely. The colors are beautiful and reminiscent of fall in New England.
Now I know why watercolor goes from light to dark. You do inspire me to experiment! The brush some call it cat’s tongue for being versatile.
So beautiful with only a few colors.
Love the " cloud" effect your sky achieved!!

I think they're gorgeous. Every time I watch your videos, I get so excited and inspired about watercolour!

Lovely. Every drop of paint was a delight to watch.
Wow, these really are beautiful. And that pop of magenta is magic!
Agree!!!

Love, love, love this one; but then, I'm a huge fan of your work and I love them all.

Hello, nice watercolor painting very colourful thanks for sharing Lin x

thank you, Gale. the rough grain is fantastic for loose painting... not so much for detailed works.
Totally gorgeous! Beautiful color!!!!!!!
I was so much struggling with trees when many of them together, and now I am happy with my work, thanks to you! You're a real inspiration!
That was super fun to watch and I love the cards and your trees are fabulous. Thank you darling.

What a clever idea to paint 1 painting symmetrically and then cut it up the middle and VOILA! you have 2 cards, done once, and they're not identical. I'll have to remember this...
They reminded me of trees in the city. The color you added at the end looked like the haze city lights give off at night. Love it!
Very nice, I love loose paintings
Just love your art. It’s my favorite.
Another wonderful video and awesome explanation of what you're doing. You know you make this look very easy! I'll have to give it a go with my cheap watercolor paper. heehee. take care ~~rita
