if I only have the ecm summary of diagnostics, how do I get the rest of the menu?

I don't understand your question. I don't remember there being a "summary of diagnostics." Going into the service menu is where all that information is at. If you can't get into the service menu as described in the video, you may have a problem.

@@repairsecrets have a cat 336e excavator how do you get the backup camera to appear instead of the blue screen?

@@ryankuhlman4585 I haven't worked on that new of model but in most cases the blue screen I took to mean that the camera wasn't working at all. Most times it would be the wiring had a problem. Check in over at Heavy Equipment Forums and ask the question there. There are some sharp people there that should be able to provide more info. Thanks for the question.
