    hello. thanks for help. i have a problem about the adjustment of the Komatsu pc200-5 servo valve? There are two adjustment screws on the top and bottom of the front and rear servo pump valves, but I did not find anything about their adjustment even in the service manual. I have information about all Co NC and jet sensor settings, but not about servo valve settings.thanks

    • @repairsecrets
      @repairsecrets 2 месяца назад

      If you are speaking of the screws that are directly opposite each other, those adjust the short side of the reaction lever for the servo valves. Usually they are only adjusted when the pump is being assembled and should not be touched with the pump in the machine. They essentially change how the pump controls react.

    This video is exactly what I'm looking for. My dryer circuit board had the exact same problem, and come to see the end of the video, it was the exact same machine (maytag maxima)! I had gotten all the way to ordering and replacing the relay switch just like you, but when I tested it in the machine it still didn't work. Now I find this video and realize It'll probably work if I add that wire since the board connection is fried! Do you know what originally caused our relay switches to go out though? Possible over-drawn current with another component? THANKS!

      The owner of the machine told me his wife and mother in law were loading rugs and blankets into the machine all the time. Since making the video I've also found out the machine was likely packed with lint inside around the drum and motor. I'm thinking the machine needs to be taken apart once in awhile and cleaned out good.

    • @repairsecrets
      @repairsecrets 9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the question. I don't have a video showing testing those components. They are easily checked using an ohm meter. Most are three wire variable resistors. Unhook them at the harness connectors and then check each wire to the body of the component. There should be no continuity. Next check each wire to the other wires. There should be some resistance that can change when the linkage for the component is moved. As I recall the center wire in the connector is a power wire from the computer and the other two are the sensor wires. There was a lot of problems with those machines and Komatsu did not make any information available in this country.
