I used to hang out with Joe before he was famous in L.A. in the late 90s. He’d have to stand in line like the rest of us back then. But he was always like this. Very encouraging to people. I’m glad he’s done so well. He is exactly who you think he is.
@vitamind2387 idk if this guys comment is bs or not but you gotta remember celebrities were just normal people living shit lives before the fame. Joe has been everywhere even before the fame. He says in this clip he lived all over and traveled constantly for tkd. Think about how many people who could say they were your friend if you got famous or at the very least knew you.
@@dontcare7086Yeah man. My chick used to MC at the Laugh Factory in 1999. Joe had only really done News Radio at the time. This was pre Fear Factor days. He was still just a comic as it were and the UFC was still very much in its infancy. Martini Lounge on Melrose Ave had stand up nights. We’d run into him there quite often. But you’re right about your friends and people you’ve known. Judging from the disbelief my comment has received, it’s mainly hated on by what appears to be younger people. When you’re over 50, imagine then how many people you will have met. It’s highly likely that by that point several of your acquaintances will have become very successful. Maybe even youre the one that your friends will tell people they’ve met.
I don't know how a successful millionaire actor can say they don't have drive...you've obviously grinded and put in a ton of effort to become a successful actor
I experienced alot of what Joe was talking about with the assertive/determined voice inside growing in power once I joined Boxing. Boxing gave my willpower and determination a huge boost that bled into everything I did even outside the gym.
What Joe is saying is his personal experience, not advice. I’ve seen people get frustrated telling others that you just need to do it. Ultimately it comes down to this…. If you want it, it can happen, but you have to dig deep, and forget about the journey and focus on one foot in front of the other.
To be fair that's what most advice is, just drawing from personal experience. If something helped/worked for you, then it might at the very least give someone else an idea that would work for them.
One way of looking at this is how Kevin James says it. There's regret from not doing jiu jitsu like Rogan did it. The other way of looking at it is that Rogan must have been bullied so badly that he used fighting to deal with it. Unless he suffered intense mental trauma, he wouldn't have had the motivation to deal with the physical trauma of fighting
WTF 😂 you think fighters who are disciplined enough to be great at it all have suffered trauma or have been bullied 😂, nah it's the same with any sport or hobby, the people who become pro are simply people who have obsessive personality traits and love for what they do and the understanding that the hardest workers are the ones who win. Start hanging out with pros of any sport or game you'll find it's simply people who have OCD and love for what they do enough to do it everyday for hours and hours and hours where it becomes your entire life. It's that simple
@@J-138-J I'm talking about Rogan's experience. He viewed martial arts as a way to deal with bullying and social anxiety. So it must have been traumatic enough for him to train really hard

Go get a coffee ☕ go somewhere to talk and hang out.

Kevin's short films were the absolute best part of the shitty ass pandemic

Kevin says everything as if he's super shocked as he's saying it lol
Peanut blart and jelly! Such a Class act!

4:51 I think Kevin might be unique in that he's got at least four or five people inside of himself. He's genetically gifted that way.
Kevin is such a humble dude
Telling a waiter not to look at him or talk to him doesn't exactly scream humble. Maybe you're using a different dictionary?

What’s with the censoring in this video???

Kevin has weak discipline, and at his age, he's probably done.
