My son turns 1 year old this month and as part of my father son tradition with him, I'm going to buy him some tools every birthday.
This year, he's got a 1/4" socket set with the foam tray inserts. Next year will be the 1/2" I think - crazy expensive over here in Europe but I want him to have some good quality tools for when he becomes a man.

I did the same with my daughter. She has had her own tool box since she was 2 years old. My wife has pictures of us painting, building a room for us to play Xbox, concrete work, plastering, plumbing, electrical work, working on the family cars and more carpentry than I can remember. [ I am a carpenter ]. WE are getting ready to replace the clutch in my 1969 Camaro soon. she is 16 years old now. I can't think of a better way to spend time with her. And yes, she still has a pink tool box!!! 🤣

Usually the case is the first thing to go. Then you start losing tools. Then you might as well buy a new set. So Milwaukee is pretty AWESOME!

I’m a machinist at UPRR and I constantly clean my tools because our engines are filthy and I find that Kresto Kwik Wipes will clean almost anything and make it look almost new again. Our Milwaukee impacts are covered in oil, grease, gunk, etc. you get the point but I wipe them down real good with those wipes and it gets more of that stuff off than you’d think!
