@@Darkheartfries250 nope. in cas mode, its "(mother/father)" "brother/sister)" "(husband/wife)". in the gameplay you can obviously build up a relationship (but theres no depth behind it. if you cheat in a marriage, get divorced or something such as, youll be sad for 2 days, unless youre "non-comittal" (trait) in which case youll be happy asf)

I just had a thought a few minutes ago, the Sims have been around for 21 years and you can't really describe half the games as "stable" or even "functional" some of the time.
Sad but true. Sims 1 & 2, definitely the most stable. Just had to be careful not to mess with gravestones or memories in Sims 2, and occasionally run fixes to clean up your neighborhood.
Bless Sims 3's laggy little heart. I can get her to run fine. Er, without all the packs. And with a crap-ton of mods and fixes and patches. I had to get a Master's degree in "How to run the Sims 3". 😂
Sims 4, I just dread every single patch that comes out now. "What are they gonna break this time? How long till all my mods that fix what they break can get updated?" Again, once the modders come to the rescue, it works great. Just sucks that it's that way.

@@lithiumkid that was alright with me though because i was a creepy little halloween-devotee as a child, who insisted on only playing with witch and vampire sims and therefore absolutely loved the creepy imaginary friends.
Sadly it was also extremely buggy to the point ErrorTrap flags it as an error.
only thing I hate is that they always end up with the default vanilla pudding face when you turn them into a real sim but otherwise I love them
i just got generations today and i cant wait for my sims baby to age up and get the imaginary friend, if only i didnt insist on the epic life span lol

if you want to play more sims 3 on sunset valley I highly recommend looking up sunset valley 2020. it has a bunch of stability fixes so it runs super smooth compared to regular sunset valley while having lots for all of the different expansion packs

One of my favourite things to do in Sims 3 was to watch other neighbours while my Sim slept. The number of stories that unfold in the town at any time is absolutely insane! One time I caught Kai Kahale visiting Talei Hale at midnight. When he rang her doorbell she came outside to greet him and went back inside. Kai then walked to her back door where she came out again, then they went inside together. A few hours pass and the paparazzi shows up, Talei's husband Kimo comes home, and Kai runs from the house. Beat that Sims 4, all happened while my old lady was sleeping at home 💅
