Did you go down to the Headland and enjoy the sea views as you walked along the promenade or the beach. It`s an ideal place to photograph the sun rises and sun set`s.
@Billyg215 I did! After going to the Royal Navy Museum in the morning, my brother and I went down to Seaton Carew, got fish and chips from Almighty Cod and had a great time exploring the town and looking out at the sea. It was a beautiful warm day, pretty much perfect.
At last … a quality video about Hartlepool , I lived there for many years and it has a lot to offer . Miles of beaches and some beautiful parks especially Ward Jackson park . Four beautiful villages on the outskirts as well all easily accessed by footpaths . Friendliest place in England . Well done Smartie old boy 😊

I’ve traveled up from Brum to Hartlepool many times for work. And also leisure trips. A lovely place full of good people. Please don’t hold onto your prejudices go see for yourselves. It will surprise you.
Hello Jason. I've watched and memorized your scenes of the video and because of you I have had the feeling that I am home, when I have been to Hartlepool and Seaton Carew last weekend. Amazing tour vid, was really helpful and useful. Thank you so much indeed and keep your amazing work up. Peter from Hungary :)

Absolutely right, no one with the option to leave WOULD live there - but be fair to those without either the resources or the ability to leave - they may not wish to be there either. Also I don't see people from the rest of Teesside queuing up to move to Hartlepool. When people from Skelton, Thornaby and Redcar look down on your town...well, is it time to re-assess?

Also, Hartlepool elected a monkey as mayor of the town (twice) He ran on a ticket of free bananas for all. This isn't a joke Google it. He was very popular and successful, and did indeed provide free daily fruit for school children. The museum and quayside is well worth the entrance fee. I kept a boat in the marina for many years and was a member of the Hartlepool Small Crafts Club (briliant club and the steward "Les" was a top bloke)
The "Mayor" was the Hartlepool fc mascot and dressed up on days of the football games in a monkey suit. Once he was elected Mayor, he gave up the monkey suit.
I used to attend the boys school that was attached to the Town Hall building. An absolutely astounding huge Victorian building, flattened to build a nondescript brick police station thats now unused for most of the time. A waste of our heritage.
