Easily the most emotional campaign in the series. The thing is, it's a battle you know you can't win, no matter how hard you try. You quickly met and got attached to the team and watched as each and every one of them died. Even worse, you watched all these civilians mercilessly cut down by the Covenant.
It left such an emotion seeing my team die in front of me in halo reach kinda like in movies when you see your favorite character die. Idk why but you bond with these fictional characters and see them as an actual team. But year again they are all fictional.
Noble Six was the only member of NOBLE to see all others die or leave Reach. Additionally, Six and Kat trained together or at least knew each other (Six is B312, Kat is B320). On a side note, you may notice Emile never felt too sentimental on any death until Carter, because they trained together as well (Carter is A259, Emile is A239). Jorge was such a bro to Six and Six was the only one to see him die. Point is, there are so many relations and cool details from the viewpoint of a SPARTAN team.
Hearing the term "Spartans" (in plural) was such a rare thing back then. Before this, the only time we saw Spartans in significant numbers was in Halo Wars.

The best part is when we hear the radio guy saying "There is no mistake. It's *them*" gives a emotional thing, like, they call the covenants just like someone would talk about some kind of demon or how they call Voldemort in Harry Potter franchise, you can sense the whole fear of humanity in this line, they know that they probably would lose to covenant just like the other times, this whole trailer is cool and show the possible fall of humanity towards the covenant but this line speaks more than the word "fear"
We remember countless nights and days spent with friends fighting in BTB. Forging on forge world, dying on mass to defend to core in Invasion, holding off the dead at the end of the red hallway on Sword base. We remember the blood soaked ground on firefight after wave upon wave of covenant invaders fell to us, We remember riding down the ramp on speed halo, we remember the tense back and forth of Castle War, we remember running for our lives on Indiana Jones, we remember forming powerful clans and groups of friends, we remember the duels of honor amongst the elites on board covenant warships, we remember holding the line against enemy clans, we remember friends now gone, we remember maps left unfinished, we remember battles left unfought... we remember Reach.

Possibly the most emotional reveal trailer Halo has ever received TBH.
I hate to be corny but this teaser actually made me a bit teary.
“This is Sierra-259. You got Spartans on the ground, sir. We’re not going anywhere.” That one line makes this game bad ass.
"There's still people down here!"
Chills, every single time
After its been announced for MCC it comes up in my recommended feed. Still great news!
"This is Sierra 259. You got Spartans on the ground, sir. We're not going anywhere." When I need a jolt of adrenaline I just listen to that in my head.
Never forget the excitement when this was released, I had just gotten done reading the books and was thrilled to tell my friends more about this soon to be doomed world
Probably one of the most harrowing games i ever played. Still one of my all time favourites.
No puedo creerlo, han pasado 13 años desde que ví por primera vez éste trailer, y todavía se me sigue erizando la piel. Es una joya.
Más cuando dice que hay gente ahí abajo
It’s been a minute since I’ve seen this trailer… how beautiful it is… chills and goosebumps…
"Halo Reach Falls in 2010." Still the best halo Bungie ever produced... So much time has passed since then.. Thank you Bungie for this.
worst bungie game by far lmao, how old were you when reach came out? 10? 12? LOL
@@pleasestoptrackingmeasio7657 best halo game of all time
Halo reach is making a comeback babyyyy!!!
The memories the nostalgia… brings a tear to me eye
14 years later and this trailer still gets me
Our last year of Halo Reach online for Xbox 360 is coming up...
December 2021 is when we close a massive chapter for our childhoods...
11.5 years later, still one of my favorite game trailers of all time
Honestly this is just a perfect trailer for reaches atmosphere...
WERE BEING OVERRUN WELL HOLD THIS POSITION AS LONG AS WE CAN...
THERES STILL PEOPLE DOWN HERE...
WHERES THE EVAC SHIPS...
just perfect going into how the unsc tried as hard as physically possible to get civs out of that tomb knowing that they will be locked in themselves for doing so...just so powerful
I have to say this is probably the best video teaser of all time.
13 years later, still one of the best game 2023 currently sep 14, happy anniversary! .
You can't feel the amount of *HOPE* I felt when this showed up on my feed and I thought it was something new.
Seven years since the release of this game, a tear drop leaves my eye everytime I listen to this. Idk
MaL fəNGkSHən Same man
12 years later, still as good as when i first saw it at E3
Even in 2014, this gives me the chills and excitement.
Dude, I agree.
I just got it when he said Winter Contingency and "there's still people down here!"
Still bring more sadness and cerealness to the Halo series.
Dude yes! I remember when I first saw this and flipped my shit. I showed it to all my friends and we were so damn excited :D
Fuck I’m old
Can't believe it's coming to PC. So ready...
15 years later after this trailer, still having goose bump, still playing it ! and still loving it ! Best HALO after H2 Thank you Bungie for this Legacy !
After all these years, this teaser still gets me choked up
I get more chills from this 1min clip then any moment of the Paramount Halo show.
7 years later .... still my favorite campaign mode in any Halo games
2024. We still remember reach
11 years later…damn……RIP Noble
Just wait until it’s 22 years.
“There’s no mistake, it’s THEM.”
I can’t stop coming back to watch this
I dont know why but this literally makes me cry. Just seeing the planet go into ruin with panic all over the comms. It gives me chills. But then i start crying as soon as he asks for noble teams assitance and the long pause before they get a response. A masterfully crafted trailer. Ill miss these games. There aint nothing like them.
“You got Spartans on the ground, sir. We are not going anywhere”
Underrated teaser trailer, such a badass line at the end
o7
Ten years, ten long years.
"SPARTANS NEVER DIE, JUST MISSING IN ACTION!
RIP TO ALL FELLOW SPARTANS & ODSTS of Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach and Halo 4 on Xbox360!
This year 2021 December 31th!
I miss this game…
I just rewatched it in 2019, 10 year later, and I STILL got the exact same chills as i did watching it that fateful day :D
Doesn't matter how nany times I watch this or play the game. I'm always brought to tears. RIP Noble Team 🙏 😢 ❤
Superb trailer. Wish I could go back 10 years. Those were the days!
