I made a trick to remember countries touching Afghanistan And it helped me to solve the question easily The trick was TUTI PIC Turkmenistan Uzbekistan Tajikistan Iran Pakistan India (POK) China
The gist to that very question i would say would be Azerbaijan. A transcontinental contry which is nowhere near Afghanistan, and if you omit Azerbaijan from the option, the answer was quite obvious. Your trick would've also helped obviously. Just saying.

Yes it’s advisable to choose management optional if you have a management background (so that they dont drill you in the interview for choosing any other optional subject). I’ve myself completed my graduation from Bachelor of Management Studies and have planned to take Management as my optional. Hope that helps!

Start preparing for mains that will be rational.. even if u didn't clear thts okay u will get ample amount of time for next attempt . Nd if u wait for result nd don't start ur mains than if u clear it it will be very hard for u to clear mains one month will be wasted
