@@RamenStyle yeah mate I had tarkov since it came out but uninstalled because i felt out matched and the content i did see on youtube only seemed to affirm my inability to compete. 3000 hours in Tarkvov 3000 in Dayz they are the same game with slightly different mechanics both have RNG moments that's require a W key or a caps key, unless you grew up playing the modded and ruined dayz
Since I started watching your vids my survival rate has gone up. Slowing it down and focusing on my surroundings instead of being a loot goblin helped a lot. Can't wait to catch your next stream!
@@RamenStyle he is not the only one. You have helped to lot of us ramen. Nah man I think it’s just the 60% is very present. I’ve been feeling the same way recently but put me in a regular raid and I’m back to soloing teams occasionally
I used to play better when I started 2 years ago. My favorite Tarkov content creator! i just bought the game recently and your videos have been the most helpful so far in learning about the game, appreciate it!
The shoreline resort fight was interesting. I need to learn to ping a few random shots in the general direction to get them to feel afraid of pushing. Easy said that done though when rocking expensive ammo. Nice video man

Hey Ramen, just wanted to let you know I’ve been watching your stuff for a few months now. Your advice is really good and helps me a lot with my own raids, and your video format is very entertaining/easy to watch. Keep up the great work brother!
This video was fantastic after a really rough night of tarkov including accidentally selling my 308 mdr with a full mag of m61 that I got offa pmc on lighthouse that just full sent my mindset for the night. Ended up dying multiple times to just overall questionable instances when I really should’ve just taken a breath and been more slow and patient
I agree with this video, until I get into raid and try to be patient and wind up getting straight desyncd on. I’m hoping I can incorporate some of this video and make my raids more successful. Great video!
I won't lie, if I survive any encouter with an ennemy where neither of use are dead and I don't have a complete avantage, I just run away x) I mean it's still a win in my book !
I love watching your videos and learning the game with you, it's a lot easier instead of learning from a top player like landmark for example where he just rushes every squad killing them all.

I've heard the word Tarkov many times over the last few years, had no idea what it even was, in my mind I had thought it might be some kind of game involving dinosaurs... never even so much as seen any gameplay. Your "played like a real sniper" video was my very first introduction to the game and I was immersed from the get go. I have always approached FPS games with a "survive and get home" attitude and even immersed myself in early games like the Day of Defeat mod for half-life in such a way that a single death = failure. I continued to watch your content and enjoyed it. I will be obtaining and immersing myself in this game asap as a result. Thanks. Keep doin' what your doin' fella. wish you all the best with it.
That is my issue. I love trakov. it's the dark souls of looter extract games, but I play too aggressive, but I know I need to slow down, but being solo I don't have that team mate to reign me in however after watching this I may have to keep it open each time I play so I learn
I used to do this thing where i would only walk everywhere. It would throw timing off, especially on big maps like shoreline, and it would give me a lot of time and opportunity to hear someone running around.
Just one more tip, that helped me alot at the beginning: Slow down your Mousespeed in free and ADS, you overdraw ALOT! Give it a try . Big up for the Vids. :)
for Factory I bring 6+ magazines; you can out-mag your opponents from emergency reloads and constantly keep the tempo up. Mags and ammunition are some of the cheapest items you can buy.
This is exactly how I improved in LoL and CSGO over the years. By understanding the game, rotations, places, etc. The improvement % was HUGE even though the ceiling was still low due to my lack of skills.
Many of the missions that you’re doing during the day with high difficulty I do at night with a flashlight strapped to my helmet and a shotgun. And it works, I did all of BP and finished eagle - owl on customs at night with that exact setup.
If I spawn glass hallway, I always run out and never engage forklifts. It just feels like a deathtrap where players know where you are and you have no maneuverability or cover. Hiding behind the box is a trap too because bullets easily go through it. I've found that you can often ambush players coming from forklifts by rushing out and waiting behind the tarped fence between the tanks. I've had a 3 man group literally sprint past me because for some reason nobody checks that angle.
i think its really different for each person , for example i was playing a little too slow and when i sped it up i was infront of people and heard them running behind me and swung and killed them, i think the flow of the map also affects the speed in which you need to play.
It's cool you watched thru the vid despite not playing Tarkov! Scav - scavenger, usually AI, can be a player. They have garbage gear, they're like the normal grunt AI of the game. PMC (private military company/contractor?) - players or the main characters of Tarkov
I need to take it slow too. I often times turn into a loot goblin, but it gets me killed all the time. Especially when fighting a scav boss, because there is always a vulture waiting to show up
I love your videos. I suggest that if you kill a group of enemies and you hear another one, go lie down in the pile and get the drop on the other one. Keep up the good work!
One of the streamers i follow got kinda offended when someone in chat said they watch him cuz his gameplay is "more relatable" than someone like LVNDMARK lmao, so I'm glad you embrace it. I'd never advise new players try to learn from the W key, power flick Andies. *Most* people playing solo would be better served learning some of these fundamentals and slowing down.
I don't know, I do like the last thing you showed in the video, but first step I would have done after exiting that spot, the other guy just instant flick in my face every single time xD
Solo player tip here. Clear out an entire building before you let your guard down and loot stuff. I've caught dudes with their pants down quite a lot this wipe
I think people under estimate (including me) hip fire is deadly. And rushing enemies for newer less exp players is never the move even tho all the chads tell you to rush. Play smart and use good judgment, angles and distractions. Play to your advantage. I’ve def gotten better this way.
better advice for you is actually to apply more lateral movements in game. stop running down the lanes and instead threaten presence in the lance and take multiple fights against them from other places. in forklift dont just fight the lane you hear em . go around open a door push back(make them think)
dont go too slow though or else your opponent will outsmart you when you least expect it... sudden sound queues can definitely help alot especially when pvp
No strat is full-proof including this one. Improve your odds through a combination of improving mechanical skill, gamesense(map/player spawn and pathing knowledge, strats to try and take advantageous positions jn fights etc. ), and good gear. It will improve your survival rate but there is still the random element which you can never account for and will inevitably catch you. Slowing down may work one time but the next time someone could be holding an angle you didn’t clear well enough and you get your head blown off. Its happened to every seasoned player many times.
people tends to one tap me whatever i sit in, from a long range, once i shot a sigle bullet with a supressor, here they somehow manage to missing from close range..
you deserve more subscribers bro amazing content I don't even play tarkov but it is very similar to the game I play on mobile so I still take notes and learn from you especially from sniping W! Vids hope you upload more videos frequently but I understand that everyday life is busy and you don't have that much time for making content or editing etc. takes up so much time understandable since you do everything by yourself impressive. Hope you're fine keep safe Love from the Philippines❤ Hope you do a Meet and Greet with the fans soon.
You are correct slow play style is better sometimes and EARS are the main tool off the game i have kild pmc on scav run just because they dont lisen or dont know the sound types near them or semi close and i always say on my stream that they are same amount playstyles that are tarkov players there is no right or wrong ( except exract campers low lifes off tarkov) but same as still paly as you like that is the experiance off the and finaly good luck for the future and raids also mayby someday the escape is real or its all fantasy dream :D
Immediately toss a nade down glass hall off of down and then push behind the name, they'll ideally be out of position and you can hold the doorway or hall
I’d like your opinion if I could; I’m a newer player with 400-500 hours and since the Cheating problem realization it’s killed my motivation to play. I know your channel and audience drives you but do you have other motivating factors? And what’s your perspective to keep a positive look out to still enjoy the game? I’ve enjoyed your vids for a while now and your content fills a niche in the Tarkov community. Awesome style brother 👊🏼 Best Regards
I actually love this question - it's a loaded one, but I'll do my best to answer: Tarkov is one of the few games where I feel almost fully immersed when moving around a map with my PMC. There's something about the pace of the game + the gun handling and just overall mechanics. It's one of the few games where I feel immersed with my PMC in-raid. To simply put, there's no other game out there right now that gives me the same satisfaction of PVP gunplay other than Tarkov. And not to mention, the sweatiness of the "looter shooter" aspect, trying to get out with whatever I need is such a great rollercoaster experience. With all that said - in come the cheaters, bugs, desync, etc. I think the way I've adjusted with all this is I've changed my perspective on the game. Back then, I wanted to be the best Tarkov player in my region. Like, that was a literal goal when I first started in 2018. I wanted to clear lobbies. And then I realized that's not what I enjoy about Tarkov. I enjoy the survival aspect of the game as you attempt to crawl to extract with 60kg of gear from a 3 man wipe after losing 5 raids in a row prior. Or even raids where I didn't kill a thing, but I've found an item I need to get out. Those little things, for me, make Tarkov, Tarkov. It's the small survival feels of the game. With this, I've learned to take PVP less serious, and enjoy Tarkov more as an overarching survival challenge. So if I do die to a cheater, or to desync, I just take the L, and move onto the next raid to continue whatever I have to do for the day. This is why I enjoy questing a ton. You'll rarely see me hop into a raid for pure PVP nowadays. Questing gives me that survival feel all the time. That's my answer, and it might be all over the place tbh. Sorry if it's a hard read LOL but I just put my thoughts onto this comment, and hope it came out cohesive! Cheers man, appreciate the insightful question.
@@RamenStyle Wow, I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to give me such an insightful and thoughtful response so thank you. I actually really needed to hear this because I want nothing more than to continue loving this game. And yes, fully cohesive to read lol I wish you the absolute best for your day / week and will be enjoying your content! Cheers brother
If you want an extra take of this topic: Theres always gonna be problems, whether internal (bugs/glitches/imbalance) or external (cheaters/toxic community) But i consider these very minor problems, and for a very important reason: Tarkov is still very much a WIP (work in progress) game. Its not even feature complete, its not the final experience. Therefore most of the internal problems can be solved, and the external problems mitigated. So my solution to the motivation problem: I always focus on playing tarkov to self improve, and improve my teamwork with my buddies (if you got em). Whenever something bad happens (glitch/dsync etc) i focus on figuring out what ME AND MY TEAM did wrong first, THEN everything else. And surprisingly, this has served me well, to the point where ive refined my playstyle so much where ONLY MY mistakes or a BETTER player's actions can kill me. And thats why i consider tarkov one of the best FPS games in the market currently: -It gives you an equal playing field where only your skill can dictate victory or death. -Its up to you to figure out what skill is more dominant in your playstyle, and change to it (is it reaction time? Is it accuracy of aim? Is it tactics?) -There is nothing unfair about it as long as you dont forfeit your life by putting yourself in a bad spot. Hope you get the motivation to play this game again. Good luck escaper.
The first pmc game I played, I heard gun shots and decided to run towards them. Big mistake. Died instantly. Since then I decided to go slower, look around more and not push towards gun fire and I've not died as a pmc since. Lets hope the luck continues
Great vid man I just subbed cuz I think you are a way better guide than one of the ultra chad streamers that gives the same advice "buy the most expensive shit and head shot everyone" That last kill was perfect. you peaked after killing his buddy and he basically closed his eyes and ran across a 6 lane highway.
Got jumped by 4 player scavs yesterday took out 3, but......yeah definitely always one more. I didn't even start to loot, third one showed up while I was medding and the fourth was way to the left of me and got me as I was pushing on the third. Sucks to suck ig but if I'd been more patient I'd have had it I think.
Also literally started playing Tarkov 3 days ago, and as a solo, I mainly run Factory and this was the one time I didn't, further I'm still learning the map(s)
I play this way a lot more when solo but with a team i back up my teammates plays. I will say even though you gotta slow down sometimes. Dont forget to flank/move. Some people play slow by just sitting and waiting in the same spot. I kill a lot of people doing that.
Its a shame that people have to bash their heads down frustration lane before they hang back and learn to play tarkov. Its a shame people think that running around is the way to go in this game, and then end up getting frustrated at it not working because of "lag/dsync/cheaters/add whatever cope reason here", instead of figuring out their own mistakes first. The community would be a much better place if everyone did that. If people treated this game like how it wants to be played, like how RAID series and trailers showcase it being played, then things like design decisions (like inertia and other systems) would make so much more sense. Kudos for showing what needs to be shown in a simple and easily digestible format ramen. Once again im thankful that there are a few people there that dont stream just to be "streamers".
Sometimes, I also let PMC just go when I see I can't win the fight or it won't be useful, yesterday, I was on woods with a shotgun and wanted to get 3 scavs killed without using meds so after killing my first scav and going on, I saw 2 PMC running, they didn't noticed me, so I let them pass to avoid getting a bleeding :p
Ramen's thoughts: "I should disengage, I'm low on ammo"
My thoughts: "I need to kill a pmc asap to get a new weapon, I'm low on ammo"
I respect it 😂

It's cool you watched thru the vid despite not playing Tarkov!
Scav - scavenger, usually AI, can be a player. They have garbage gear, they're like the normal grunt AI of the game.
PMC (private military company/contractor?) - players or the main characters of Tarkov
Literal first game I tried this. I slowed down a fight and thought through my next moves. And got a good kill on a juiced pmc. Thx for the tips!
I love your mic quality, what is that microphone you are using?
It looks to me like at the end you’re just Turtling lol 🐢
I need to take it slow too. I often times turn into a loot goblin, but it gets me killed all the time. Especially when fighting a scav boss, because there is always a vulture waiting to show up
I love your videos. I suggest that if you kill a group of enemies and you hear another one, go lie down in the pile and get the drop on the other one. Keep up the good work!
Another fantastic video, Ramen!
Thanks man!!
LOL. Yeah I know my place and I'm proud of it 😅
I've improved in surviving fights bringing in 3-5 nades to chuck around while running away.
Lets go, the man, the myth, the ledgend has uploaded, one of the best tarkov streamer is back with a new upload
Hahaha cheers man!
That look after the one tap made me laugh
Great video! Thanks
Thanks man!
"the engagement start out great" just after luckly not get killed by headshot
I don't know, I do like the last thing you showed in the video, but first step I would have done after exiting that spot, the other guy just instant flick in my face every single time xD
Great video, how do you select the angle which you lean or how down you crouch? I can only compleatly lean or crouch
LOVE UR VIDEOS DUDEE
Appreciate you bro!
Great vid, I love your content :)!
Appreciate this a lot man!
Solo player tip here. Clear out an entire building before you let your guard down and loot stuff. I've caught dudes with their pants down quite a lot this wipe
did you speed up the looting around 5:30? or does just pressing f on the bodies give xp
I was just pressing F for a little extra XP
Ah i didnt know that, thanks!
The Content King Ramen is back!
🙏
It works perfectly!!!, i move only to the extract and only move my arms to shoot the guy stealing my loot!!! really works not moving at all...
We like to call that spawn in factory, the Love Triangle for obvious reasons. 3 PMCs all spawning on top of each other....someone always gets clapped.
ramen the underrated MC!
Your videos are awesome! Keep doing you!
dont go too slow though or else your opponent will outsmart you when you least expect it... sudden sound queues can definitely help alot especially when pvp
Stop, Look, Listen and Learn. Famous words of 2018-2019
😅
people tends to one tap me whatever i sit in, from a long range, once i shot a sigle bullet with a supressor, here they somehow manage to missing from close range..
you deserve more subscribers bro amazing content I don't even play tarkov but it is very similar to the game I play on mobile so I still take notes and learn from you especially from sniping W! Vids hope you upload more videos frequently but I understand that everyday life is busy and you don't have that much time for making content or editing etc. takes up so much time understandable since you do everything by yourself impressive.
Hope you're fine keep safe
Love from the Philippines❤
Hope you do a Meet and Greet with the fans soon.
I mostly meet cyborgs that head-eye me instantly.
That's true, audio is such a huge huge part of the game. One day, we'll escape 😅
@@RamenStyle I hope that too
Immediately toss a nade down glass hall off of down and then push behind the name, they'll ideally be out of position and you can hold the doorway or hall
Looking at these factory fights one big thing stands out to me. GRENADES. The one on woods was good.
Yep, I mention utility usage at the last 2 fights of the video!
If you spawn in that section of the hall and you want to push you immediately throw a flash or other grenade then push.
Awesome style brother 👊🏼
Best Regards
I actually love this question - it's a loaded one, but I'll do my best to answer:
Tarkov is one of the few games where I feel almost fully immersed when moving around a map with my PMC.
@@RamenStylegreat response
@@RamenStyle Wow, I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to give me such an insightful and thoughtful response so thank you. I actually really needed to hear this because I want nothing more than to continue loving this game. And yes, fully cohesive to read lol
I wish you the absolute best for your day / week and will be enjoying your content! Cheers brother
If you want an extra take of this topic:
Theres always gonna be problems, whether internal (bugs/glitches/imbalance) or external (cheaters/toxic community)
But i consider these very minor problems, and for a very important reason: Tarkov is still very much a WIP (work in progress) game. Its not even feature complete, its not the final experience. Therefore most of the internal problems can be solved, and the external problems mitigated.
So my solution to the motivation problem:
I always focus on playing tarkov to self improve, and improve my teamwork with my buddies (if you got em).
And thats why i consider tarkov one of the best FPS games in the market currently:
-It gives you an equal playing field where only your skill can dictate victory or death.
-Its up to you to figure out what skill is more dominant in your playstyle, and change to it (is it reaction time? Is it accuracy of aim? Is it tactics?)
-There is nothing unfair about it as long as you dont forfeit your life by putting yourself in a bad spot.
Yeah I never run to forklift spawn from hallway lol, that'd tough.
I appreciate this insight a lot man 🙏
Got jumped by 4 player scavs yesterday took out 3, but......yeah definitely always one more.
Another great video
Yeah my aim also sucks and the over exaggerated recoil in Tarkov makes hitting things even harder.
10:16 you could throw thru those windows this nade, and other he back up or rush you
I play this way a lot more when solo but with a team i back up my teammates plays. I will say even though you gotta slow down sometimes. Dont forget to flank/move. Some people play slow by just sitting and waiting in the same spot. I kill a lot of people doing that.
Agreed!
I appreciate the kind words as always man, thank you!
I ran into a guy on woods who onetapped me to the chest with .357 fmj. I was wearing brand new lvl 4 armor… that shouldn’t happen, right?
Sometimes, I also let PMC just go when I see I can't win the fight or it won't be useful, yesterday, I was on woods with a shotgun and wanted to get 3 scavs killed without using meds so after killing my first scav and going on, I saw 2 PMC running, they didn't noticed me, so I let them pass to avoid getting a bleeding :p
if you cant aim, theres always magnum buckshot
