Agreed! I so glad they took them in, saved them from neglect and ate so committed to make sure they both have exactly what they need. They obviously spend a lot of time and money making sure they have everything specific to their biology, habitat and behavioural needs. They are amazing human beings. ❤️

People like you and your wife are angels! In this crazy world it's wonderful to know that there are good humans willing to rescue creatures that are in harmful situations. Since Poppy and Paxton aren't able to survive in the wild, the life you are giving them is the best chance they have to be happy. You have such a soothing voice. I live for those wahoos!

And Poppy and Paxton are very blessed. As he makes clear when asked, these are exotics that require a lot of care because they are destructive and can get aggressive; they are both rescues for that reason. I’m glad they’ve finally arrived in the home of knowledgeable people and they’re thriving.
So friggin adorable❤️. I’m from San Francisco, live in Texas, now - lived in Tucson for 13 years and saw Prairie Dogs in the wild - they were so thin. The Prairie Dogs at the Desert Museum were so cute and chubby. They had an easier life.
OMG, they are so sweet. And so nice to watch how comfortable and spoiled they obviously are living with you. And lucky Paxton getting the best possible second chance in life. I am also always maximal happy when I see my two furballs nibbling away their food.
Picking up one of those critters and holding her or him has got to be one of the coolest things in the world.
Such an awesome way to start the day watching those two cuties!!! Love how Poppy just lays upside down in your hand and gets belly rubs and how she knows the sound of her treat bag being opened and comes running. You guys really changed their lives for the better. Amen!!!❤️❤️ Love you guys!!!❤️❤️

We had a first prairie dog (Hoover) for a few months and decided to get him a "friend." Hoover did not take kindly to the newbie and would attack her all the time. After a few weeks, we were lucky enough to find a close friend take "Tabitha" in.
Years later (after Hoover died) we got two more baby prairie dogs together. A sister and brother (Mocha and Java) and they were insepeable. They loved each other so much! Mocha was with us for 11 years and Java made it to 13. Java actually passed away quietly, sleeping on my chest. We knew his time was coming.

I just love that he will fall over when you start giving him. Lovins just goes to show that a little bit of love goes along way in every walk of life. Thank you for sharing these two precious beings with us every day bright blessings.

P-dog Yoga gives me the inspo I need to do people-yoga when I get up. Poppy is “on it like she owns it!” When it comes to 🧘♀️ she’s a queen!
