David Eastwood. Thanks Dave great to meet you too, hope you’re enjoying the F800 if you’ve got any questions regarding the Britannia fairing or need any parts let me know, happy to help.
Well, congratulations on making such an ordinary activity so damn interesting. But that's what good editing will do. Beautiful video. Congratulations about the bike as well. I'll get mine someday.
some cojones there to pick up the new bike and ride it on snowy roads. I picked mine in November 2017 from the dealer and was barely raining and hoped to get safe home :) would not be the first vehicle to dent on the maiden voyage...
@Ed Davies Why wasn't the back light on the motorcycle working? It's very dangerous, especially in those conditions!! I thought all modern motorcycles had lights on at all times.
Hi GabryGolly33, You are correct, all new bikes must have running lights front and rear. In this case the Camera didn't pick up the rear light because of the frequency I can assure you it was working. Otherwise it wouldn't of been allowed to leave the showroom. All the best Ed
My heart was in my mouth as she slid about a bit, passing the lorry. Ordered my 1250 GS last month, picking it up next month, counting the days.
Wow! I hated those Anakee 3´s in the wet but I would´ve never ever had the balls to ride a GSA WITH Anakees in the snow! Cheers and congrats! :)
Congrats to your friend. There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes! Especially if you're collecting a GSA :-)
Nice Vid Ed ! Crazy weather job well done . Good to meet you and Seb at BMW Cotswold last weekend. Hope all went well with Touratech
cheers
Dave

Congratulations, very brave to do that. I would certainly have waited a few days for better weather.
Respect
I’ve got very same bike but wouldn’t have had the bollocks to pick it up in that weather. I was fretting over a very light shower at 18 degrees.
Thats a well put together video 👍🏻
It can only get better, nice ride.
just bought mine, whats your thoughts since owning one
congratulations - you are one brave sob! - great riding skill :)
Big balls! Great ride, great bike!
Brasil! Beautyful!!!
18k bike, I know ill pick it up when its the worst snow for like 20 years, fair play :)

Ed Davies Thanks for the quick reply. I guessed it was the frequency but I wanted to be sure 😉
Why did you collect in that weather? Fair play for getting out, but you could so easily of dropped it, and it’s now covered in salt.
ONLY MAD DOGS AND ENGlISHMEN ! what a BOYKIE !!! WELL DONE LAD !!!
Gents, what is the name of the artist providing the music for the vid?
Covered in salt. Its breaks my heart!
Very expensive corrosion waiting to happen. Hope you're gearbox isn't pants like mine was.
A true biker
24k usd and risking that? Nice to be free huh!
just get that salt off before sticking it away......
Just goes to show you that nothing gets between a man and his GSA......nothing !!
