As others have mentioned, I want to thank you guys for doing this in English. Great job on the review of these bikes. It helped me understand the difference in the models and what sets each of them apart. I wold love to ride the Stelvio one day! Thanks again.
Thank you so much for the English review: reaches so many more of us who like your videos but do not have foreign language familiarity. The beautiful scenery is a bonus. :)
I bought r1200rs month ago (change from vfr800 gen 6). And I am seriously impressed with the bmw machine. 👌🏻 I had a test ride of r1200r when it was first introduced to the UK dealerships and it was very nice to ride. However, the additional comfort for long journeys the RS provides is undeniable. Nice test! (I know it was few years ago... but it is still relevant). All the best 👍
very good 1000 Pferdestärke I,like your honest approach. Beginners and experienced riders thats good. I just purchased my first nagel neu BMW. R1200RT and I am still growing into it. 18 years with a big heavy HD Road Glide. Yeah big change. Low center of gravity, lighter weight ,linear horsepower (Pferdestärke) and better ergonomics have confirmed I made the right decision. Oh yeah did I mention the fun factor (++++++++++++++++) Alles Bestens 1000PS MIke
You could always ask for more! Bigger fairing more comfortable tourer- RS, more stylish - RnT, even better tourer - RT and GS - offload capability. But i know what you mean :)
Hey guys thanks for the info. I own a (new to me) 2018 RT. Impressive bike. First BMW. I come from sport bike/sport touring. This bike is well refined and smooth. Took sometime getting used to it and it’s size. Mostly it was all in my head lol. Finally took my wife out on it yesterday and she loved the comfort of and smoothness of it. Can’t wait for a long tour on it. The only issue I have with this bike is keeping it clean! So many bugs in northern Canada and the rain doesn’t help lol. Cheers
Hey mo, its better for me. I never cared much for the way it looked, but everything else the 1k did was amazing in every way. It handled fantastic, wicked fast, but didnt have the top end as most sport bikes, however it would most often get there faster (governed to 160mph) and all the fancy gizmos. The 1200 though...that had me after only a minute on her. comfortable, beastly in the low and midrange, fast enough (125mph top speed), ton of gizmos also, but the soft setting is softer on the 1200, and it feels great. the bike feel perfectly balanced, and extremely comfortable in every part of the corner, the entry, mid and exit, you have complete control at all times thanks to its amazing low center of gravity. Then....the best part....I am super anal about chain maintenance, and as much as i like to ride, the 1200 being shaft drive was a huge relief. I love this bike so much....and its just perfect for me. J
I love my 2008 RT, doesn't feel big at all and easy to feel 'as one' with the bike. Riding through the London winter no problems and think its gizmos may have helped keep me upright on a few sketchy occasions.
I got the same, I always want a year round ride. The rest aren't very comfortable even with heated jacket, pants, gloves, socks! I can ride down to 28* F and stay out for hours. I have 5 different windshields, 3 of them I cut down myself for hot weather riding. Love the ABS II, one finger braking for most non-emergency situations.
thanks guys for English version of your reviews :) definitely, I am in loved with my LC `14 and I will never change this one but only maybe for one with less milage... it`s hard to say to somebody how you feel in saddle of such a bike, the only think I can tell for people who didn`t ride such a bike, is every time I step into this I have a dumb smile on my face all over the tour no matter how long it is, and this is happening every single time...
Great work, guys. I love that you each give your clear personal preferences and say which ones you like and, perhaps more importantly, which ones you don't like...and why! Fantastic! And your English is great....a 1000% better than my German! :) I was surprised the R1200RS was not the clear winner on these roads!!!
+Barry Timm Not surprising at all. They clearly show kind of slow very technical roads. So obviously naked/lightest bike should win. Thing will be totally different once you go above 70 MPH though...
Glad y'all had good bikes on good roads....I have an 03 r1150r, it's quite capable for any day...maybe not traffic jams .....or parades....got a z4 for those...:)....
I'm retired but I could be persuaded to go back to work...LOL! I have the "R" version and with my 30" inseam, the seat height and low cog of the bike make it very unintimidating for a 1200 cc bike.
Great review! Thank you. All in the same color which is cool! My personal choice would be the R1200RS for its sporty looks but also its practical touring aspects. Thanks for the very good English. I own five Beemers, the newest being a 2000 R1100S but like to keep up with what BMW is up to. Subscribed!
1250rs or 1200rt for me and trade it in for a 1600gtl when I’m older. I’ve been researching Harley’s recently and already forgot about the Harley brand :/
For my riding style I like the R1200rt better than a K1600. The K1600 is smoother has more power but weights more and carries the weight differently. K1600 better for one touring with no turns and rt12 way better in the twisties.
I have the 'R' and it's the best kept secret in motorcycling period. By the way, too fast past this cyclists my friend. I would have plain knocked you out if I caught up with you at a coffee stop

Thank you guys for the video and doing it in english!
R 1200 R is a great bike , it has everything - power, handling, the looks & comfort what more could u ask for in a bike
a better gearbox/transmission!!!
You could always ask for more! Bigger fairing more comfortable tourer- RS, more stylish - RnT, even better tourer - RT and GS - offload capability.
But i know what you mean :)
Very helpful. Thanks from USA.

Great job on the reviews- thank you! I recently bought a R1200RS and love it.
Bill Richardson trade it in for a ‘19. Lot of nice upgrades.
nice vid, I traded my 14 S1000r in for a 16 R1200r and I couldnt be happier. its amazing in every way. cheers.
Jon Hill i m torn between both models, what is the difference and makes the r1200r better in your opinion ?

I also own an rt 08 and love it, regards from Colorado Springs.
Great comparison guys, thanks for different points of view of each other!
Nice work, guys! Beautiful scenery. Great videography. And you guys rocked it.
thank you for the English addition, real honest reviews for real bikers 👍👍
Yep - what a hard job you guys have!! :-) Thanks for the upload
Excellent comparison. I'm an old fart so I'd go with the luxury and comfort of the RT. Thanks for the video.
Great review! A diversity of opinions is always great and the production quality was nice!
great job!, here in italy it's almost impossible find great reviews like this... thank you

If this channel has a video in English, it's always guaranteed to be one of the best reviews for me!!
Thanks for uploading 👍🏻 Amazing as always
The RT being outperformed by the GS in the mountains is disappointing. Thank you for your honesty i will go with the K1600.!
Fantastic review in English. Thank you!!!!
Great English review and I love the scenery and twisties.
Much appreciated! Very good review.
Thanks for the English ! Greetings from Belgium
A very useful comparison- nice one guys :-)

Totally disagree with their opinions on the RT. It´s the perfect bike, except if you want to go off-road.
Agree
compare the bikes in the cold/rain

Omg where is this place you are riding? The most beautiful place on earth!
INTERNATIONAL MEETING BMW BOXER IN BENASQUE-THE PYRENEES-SPAIN 14-16 JUNE 2019

... and the winer is.... wait! R1150RT not here?
Nope, the winner is a R1100rt! no wait..... R100rt!!!!!!
I am buying all 4
GSA im on 2 so far 😊 r and gsa. Love them both.
Great stuff - I have a Gs but think bmw are being left behind on power with the boxer - ktm are way ahead at 160bhp....
Don't buy a gs, get a s1000xr
They are different worlds, gs for the civilized world and the Xr for Hooligans.
Super;)
Ma786sai
Truly a most Superb review God bless you guys. Cyrus
Well, who is the famous youtube?
+BeMoto +The Mighty Jingles
Thanks for the english
😍😘BMW GSA1200😘😍
Who is the Wiener ??
doesn't the r nine t share the same engine as well or is it different ?
no.. it's not watercooled. less hp and torque but more character.
+Fahad M, The R Nine-T has the "old" boxer 1200 engine. The air-cooled. All these bikes have the new Liquid cooled 1200 engine
Vaulti has the best english
I have the 'R' and it's the best kept secret in motorcycling period. By the way, too fast past this cyclists my friend. I would have plain knocked you out if I caught up with you at a coffee stop
