It's only a comment but why do so many people on utube wear gloves doing their projects. I've always understood that gloves and power tools is a dangerous practice. Do they work in very cold invironments. I live in UK and am 78 years old and have never worn gloves doing carpentry and joinery. Just a thoughtful question.
I agree hot materials yes ...but I was also told not to wear gloves in case gloves got caught in moving parts safty comes first seems to got out of hand.

Here's a tip: Don't use sheetrock screws for a joist hanger.

Don't use drywall screws to connect lumber. They are brittle and snap easily.

The only problem with using a pop rivet as a nail is that the head is deliberately designed to break off...

For rotating tools it is a no no.
You have a point, but it's still common practice to wear gloves especially in cold weather.
Dont get caught using drywall sctews on hangers.
