I enjoy following your prog, but rarely have time now to watch full stream or vods, so these weekly wecaps are great for me, hope to see more!
The ifrit dash incident was so funny, hanging out with your raiders and observing their suffering in spoiler chat is an integral part of the experience, this is genuinely some of the most entertaining ffxiv content Ive ever seen.
I know its taxing, but I hope you see it through, because I, if not many others, are excited for what is still to come!

Been loving the UWU prog. As someone who recently went through this fight with a guide, I couldn't imagine trying to figure this out without any outside assistance. Well done so far and good luck with the rest of the fight

I guess the tricky part of solo cook is that you only have one perspective to work with, stuff like the garuda drop isn't really a mechanic, if you had 8 fully blind players someone would have noticed the first time it happened. In that way you're at a big disadvantage as you can't bounce ideas off the party, during world prog it's still common to have 1 or 2 players cook but they can bounce ideas off the party and get answers right away on what issues might exist, but here you might need 20, 30, 60 minutes or more worth of pulls to answer even somewhat obvious questions. Good job so far on staying sane, excited to see you reach the back end of the fight!
Great recap - i remember the Eureka moment - was waiting for a week for this and with Snakku's laugh, highest level content.
Still remember when you had your initial cook - reviewed a video to confirm it, didn't notice that one of the nail got off-screened when looking at that replay and went - oh no, not per my hypothesis and proceeded to reject it lol.
Titan Gaols are finicky - you'll get there! But do take care of your health!
Not much spoiler here on the fight itself and you may have figured this in your Eden raids (been following only UWU) - but having that priority system usually helps you cook for the seemingly random mechs. You may need role based priority (Tanks> dps> heals for example) and priority within roles too! (like MT>ST, m1>m2>r1>r2 for dps and so on). Ofcourse you probably know this already from your WoW experience
Really loving this recap content. It'll also be useful for when you clear and make a full recap video. Much easier to cobble together footage from a few 20 min summaries vs 300 hours of vods raw 😊

I saw the moment you discarded the ifrit strat, you were looking at the nails going off and 2 of them go off almost simultaneously and you got the order wrong, so when you checked the ifrits the order didn't match and you were like "yeah that doesnt work" and moved on xD
hahaha yeah and then I reviewed it on Tuesday and saw the correct order in that same clip. So I was just being lazy clearly!
The Garuda thing was definitely an oversight by the devs, but truth be told it'd change like one thing if you awakened her earlier and ultimately, not a big deal.

I get what it is after watching a bit, but I do think "cook" or "solo-cook" as a term isn't super familiar to a lot of FF players or people who might see this and not quite understand at first. I'm not sure of a better way to phrase it though, since you're taking it 1-step further than just "Blind Prog" by raid-planning it alone. Cooking is kinda a slang I suppose aha.

Yeah it's a weird phrase really but like you I can't think of anything better. I'll try and popularise "solo cook" 😆
uwu is the easiest ultimate but its still far harder then any of the savage raids
glad you're having fun but most raids are just you can't prog until you pass a mechanic this one is special
