Nice review. I just got one. I think for many people, they assume this device should move heaven and earth and you never have to clean. I have the understanding that you will still need to vacuum and mop, this just helps about 2x per week for a 'tidy-up' if you will and to prevent some of the dirt from navigating to other areas of the home.
If this thing could do a half job I would of been happy. For me this thing couldn't move more than 10 feet from docking station before getting stuck on something and not being able to go around it
I have the shark vacmop iQ is really awesome with mapping finds he’s way all the time don’t get stuck is just awesome I wanted to try this one but I went with the shark
Of course, I got stuck on that rug. That rug is like an inch. These things are mainly for non-carpeted properties, such as my condo in a high-rise building that just has concrete throughout the unit it works great and that was a swat that model was intended for not carpet.
I got the EV775 and it doesn't have a mapping mode. I would say it doesn't do this. I think it works decently. It also goes over the carpet most of the time but hates the corners if they are lifted up.
Does it not use LiDAR to map your home? Does not produce a map that you can view in your app? I have the SpinWave R5 Robotic Mop & Vacuum and it does I’m curious which one is better. The one you have has an extra corner brush. But I don’t know if it has a map
Looks like a decent product. The first robot mop and vacuum combo came out 7 years ago. This is probably the best robot mop and vacuum combo because back then, the mops were stationary, but this one spins. It’s navigation is just awful, but the Bissell IconPet robot has even worse navigation.
I have a Roomba vacuum and I have to basically pick up the entire house for it to clean. Its one of the older versions before they did the mapping but I dont mind. My shark vac doesnt do half the job with me pushing it on cat litter that my Roomba does. I really want a robo mop that doesnt break the bank just to get under a few hard places for me to mop and do a basic water floor wipe thing on my terazzo floors. Thinking this one may work for me since I am already used to picking up every thing before a vac. I would get the braava jet 240 but it literally cant do more than like 300 feet. I need at least 600 feet before recharge
@@aronp713 I did get it. I got the bravo jet from the same company Roomba. It doesn't replace mopping just like the Roomba vacuum doesn't completely replace vacuuming but it does make the floors easier to maintain. Like you can run it a couple times a week and your floors stay pretty nice. Only needing to go back in with a real mob maybe once or twice a month depending on how many people live with you and pets etc
Unfortunately it needs Wi-Fi and the app to work. Once its set up with the app and Wi-Fi, you can start and start and stop with with the button on top of the robot
If I hand clean my floor with paper towels or rags, I wouldn't use the same material I started with to complete the job so I think the "mopping" is a useless feature, unless your place is always clean and you are basically dusting.
I've owned a couple of robot vacuums, this is by far the dumbest smart vac I've seen. Luckily I mostly wanted it for the mopping. It does good work when it's operating which is about 10 minutes at a time. When it's not stuck it often thinks it's low in water. This unit is awful, but I already bought it and it's slightly better than moping by hand. I'm just glad I kept my eufy vacuum so at least vacuuming can be done when I'm not home.
It's junk, gets stuck and alerts you with a loud beep. It never cleared itself away from steps and elevated steps. Returned it could not get rid of it fast enough
Works great and than the solution no longer comes out with Mopping. Bissel said to switch from low to high or medium to high and than it will start. No go... Waste.
I bought it am about to return it.the most idiot vacuum.also idk why it makes my wood floor soo dry.its almost like sand paper.also leaves swirl marks all over
Product is garbage. Can't figure out to go around anything. Bumps into the first wall or furniture and it just keeps bumping back into it until an error pops up.

Yes it does but only on a low speed for the vacuum when your using it in mop mode with the mop bin attached

Totally agree with you. It does a good job mopping and vacuuming so the bad navigation is almost forgivable.. almost! lol
