In this clip, John Salley reflected on the celebrities that passed away in 2020, particularly Tiny Lister. Salley recounted his friendship with Tiny and detailed a story about the late comedian Robin Harris roasting both him and Tiny during one of his sets. Harris ragged on John Salley so bad about his pink outfit that he left the venue to throw it away and got on Tiny to the point he rushed the stage.
Met Tiny twice, years apart. Both times he made me feel like we were old friends. RIP

@@23kingwill Vlad didn’t state an opinion, he lied and said someone said something that they just didn’t say, and he wouldn’t apologize for it. He could’ve just came out and said it was a misquote if that what it was but I don’t think it was a misquote. I think he meant to do it thats why he refuses to apologize.

@@derekjenkins2294 very true but in Vlad’s defense he issued a statement and I believe took that video down where he said that. Why was an apology needed for Jamar and Godfrey??? They both have gone on Vlad’s show and stated NUMEROUS falsehoods and nobody is saying to cancel them or boycott their platforms. They’re playing victims and making the situation so much bigger than it actually is. Farrakhan has said all kinds of lies, racist, and demeaning things about whites, Jews, etc so it ain’t like he was some well to do Minister who was misquoted and was off brand with who he is.
That role that Tiny had in the fifth element was a pretty big role he was really like the unsung star.

What trips me out is the thinking we a are going to live to 100 and how it should be normal. Yes some have great health and are different look at Ozzy Osborne he has partied and did drugs for many years and has lived a good life. Believe they have even studied him medically and see why he is such an outlier. But let's face facts throughout human history there has been an average span of life throughout time and history due to many reasons environmental, way people choose to live life and also risks. But to say some who passes away young or before you is not normal or crazy. Its crazy how we have adapted this thinking and Believe we all live into are 90's. Thats the one part of life that connects us all is that is ends some before others and also a natural order, older people go before most of the youth the natural order. Wad raised by my aunt and grandmother who were both significantly older than me and at times told me that they will pass away before me and taught me how to live life and not to speed up the process. But everyone's drinking everyday doing drugs and eating any and everything they want. So eat a little more healthy, exercise regularly and every now and then splurge but then also realize death is a race that you don't want to be first or winning that race. Glad I was raised by older people who didn't just encourage me to do anything I wanted. I see some of those people and it might be labeled as love and how they didn't judge or try to change you. But the fact of life is you'll have to do things you don't like and are harder than what you thought. I was exercising staying on top of things before this pandemic and had allowed me to ease a little slow down and do okay during this. But some have never done that or is starting to because of the pandemic and try to change their health and situation and it shocks me to think that. I used to do 10 miles a day on my bike stay in shape playing paintball every weekend and do things while I was younger man and has put me in a position to be ready for this pandemic. Life happened before this and will go on after this, you have to be the one to realize this and make decisions in your own life. One of my biggest quotes or things I live by is "Whats the difference between Proactive and Reactive One doesn't wait and React to what's going on around them. While the the other does and knows things before and makes decisions sooner than later". Don't wait for a pandemic or an economic crash to show you that you shouldn't be drinking alcohol as much or eating healthy to have a better life. These are the things I was taught and in a weird way I have lived my live. I have drank as a younger adult done my share of partying but have never let that effect me in a way that bad. Some have done so much while their young and trips me out that they can't drink one bight every here and there and then have crazy hangovers and side effects from that. I would party and then wake up early the next day and then putbin those 10 miles in or walk or jog 3 to 5 miles. Many don't do those type of things and will call you crazy or not see that as normal. Lol you put yourself in every position after you are grown. Act like it lol

I love the fact that Vlad sets up interviews with so many people I love and respect, but I can’t respect the way he frames his questions. A good journalist should be able to ask hard questions, but they shouldn’t assume they know the answer to the question they are presenting.
