  • Here is a disassembly of the DSC312 to take a look at what's inside this new dewalt high power xtreme sub-compact saw. It has a nice counter balance mechanism and a planetary gearbox and is pretty robust with captured bearings really seems pretty well built and taking a look inside shows why it is so tall extra space for the counterweight which really does work as you need a active counterweight to truly reduce vibration.

    You and AVE are probably my favorite channels. You seem to like to collect tools like I do. I dont necessarily need them but every once and awhile I like to have a few of the same ones. You know just in case I need five circular saws.

      @CatusMaximus  4 года назад

      5 circular saws is reasonably four and a half inch trim saw a 7 1/4 inch framing saw an eighth and a quarter inch big blade saw and maybe a 10in or 12in bean saws

    Thank you for this! I had to take apart mine to fix it, and a little part flew off but I didn't know from where until I saw this!.

    That appears to be very well engineered and built. Molybedenum grease is great stuff, hard to wash off of your hands!

    Glad I found you. Was looking for a video to fix my DCS312B. The saw is intermittent. Sometimes works for a minute then just won’t. Press the trigger and the lite comes on but no saw. Tried many batteries. Not sure what to do or what part needs to be replaced. Any suggestions??

    Thank you for your video. You mentioned possibly making a video on tearing down the chuck. Did you ever make that video? Mine is broken, so any tips would be appreciated.

    I can not get the blade out of the chuck. Think it was inserted incorrectly. I need help because it appears to be locked into the chuck.
    Did you make the chuck video?

    Excellent video, one question, mine has a small wobble in the axis of about 1mm, is it normal? I have a 1100W Makita, obviously they don't compare but its shaft doesn't have that wobble. Thanks for this video

    Would honestly rather have a bit too much grease than none at all. Tear down a Ryobi, and you'll see exactly what I mean.
