His articulation of words, clear, concise an untouchable artist! None can compare with Mr. Nate King Cole black and beautiful! America 🇺🇸 wasn’t ready for his level of talent! He set a very high standard for singing and playing the piano, he was in a class by himself!
America was ready. North America, Latin America, and Europe too. Only "Madison Avenue" wasn't ready. My "white" parents loved him and watched his television show religiously. I thought it odd that rhey did not like Louis Armstrong, who I personally found to be equally as engaging as Nat Cole.
I remember when I was young, my parents used to play this song at Thanksgiving, and back then, I didn't understand the importance of Nat King Cole until I was 11-years old. Now that I am older and a teenager, I play this song to remember those moments. This is the first song I play on Thanksgiving Day because it reminds me that Christmas is near. Thanks, Mom and Dad for playing this song! This is a very beautiful song and I am so glad that kids today can learn about Nat King Cole through this platform! Man, what a smooth set of pipes. Incredible voice, not to mention an incredibly talented piano player. A very musically gifted human being. We are fortunate to enjoy his music, even to this day.
Nat King Cole was so so talented. His piano playing and singing were done effortlessly. Such a gracious man. He certainly left this world way too soon.
Thanks for this wonderful documentary. Nat and his wife were such beautiful people, inside and out. Nat was a remarkable pianist, amazing singer, naturally funny, and highly intelligent. I love this man so much. Nat's wonderful voice elicits the comforting feel of being wrapped in a warm blanket and drinking hot chocolate. There were so many phenomenal artists in this video: Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, Ben Webster, Quincy Jones, Harry Belafonte, Ray Brown (a world-class bassist and also married to Ella Fitzgerald for six years), Eartha Kitt, Sammy Davis, Jr., and more. So much talent for which I remain grateful, as I listen to them regularly.

Hey, Reelblack I wanted to thank you all so very much for posting this insightful documentary chronicling the life and career of the legendary Mr. Nat King Cole. I have been a fan of Nat's since Christmas Day 2004. I look forward to seeing what you post next.
I remember during that time I was a little girl that just love to listen to classical music 🎶. I was in love with those kind of music 🎼 right here today now.
Know what, Shoutout to Reelblack I've seen so many awesome black musicians from your channel. Prince, James Brown, P-Funk, and many others. It's just all hitting me now.
Growing up around the ankles of my grandfather I found myself listening and loving music from this era. In fact, my first boyhood crush was for Eartha Kitt. #classicovershare. The 80's to the mid 90's seemed to weigh heavily in favor of light skin and curly hair. Whereas the majority of Nat's era seemed to be filled with dark complected artists that "got the girl." So, as a child, I would escape my reality by daydreaming that I was as smooth, eloquent and sophisticated as these artists and actors.
Nat is the greatest jazz singer of all time his songs I have some of his real acapellas on my channel it really shows off his pure natural baritone I love just love his voice he kind of reminds me of Luther Vandross because Nat could stand in one spot without even dancing and sing so smooth without yelling or screaming on the microphone and would have the whole crowd in love with him speaking of Nat King Cole I might try to post up some more Nat King Cole's real acapellas on my channel
Wow wow he died a terrible thing that he will never be forgotten. As a little girl I used to listen to this song almost every Saturday morning. I was living in Nimba yekepha very well life.
Amazing footage of such a talented and wonderful and extremely good looking man! At 31.38 point in the video is very upsetting to see the racism he suffered. He should have got alot more credit.

Latin America loved and still loves Nat "King" Cole. Nobody sang so beautifully in spanish, with such a special accent.
Thank you for posting this. I have his show on DVD but not a biography.
Hey, Reelblack I wanted to thank you all so very much for posting this insightful documentary chronicling the life and career of the legendary Mr. Nat King Cole. I have been a fan of Nat's since Christmas Day 2004. I look forward to seeing what you post next.
This is a GEM.
Now this is my favorite song that I have ever heard in my life time yes sir he did it very well .
I love Nat King Cole... 2 of my favorite songs are (IMPOSSIBLE) and (THAT SUNDAY THAT SUMMER)
Mr. Cole's in the house! RIP sir.
Elegance personified!
I remember during that time I was a little girl that just love to listen to classical music 🎶. I was in love with those kind of music 🎼 right here today now.
Just look at the roster of people they are interviewing...wow.
Rambling Rose. Classic. Thanks for uploading.
NAT "KING" COLE made Capitol Records. The house that Nat built. The latter was literally tall, dark and handsome.
I think that anyone who wants to learn how to sing a ballad should listen to his songs.
Ahhh, love💘 the Guy into eternity; he lives in our hearts. 💕
My favorites are, When I fall in Love, Mona Lisa, Here's that Rainy Day....
I adore Nat King Cole.❤
Nat is the greatest jazz singer of all time his songs I have some of his real acapellas on my channel it really shows off his pure natural baritone I love just love his voice he kind of reminds me of Luther Vandross because Nat could stand in one spot without even dancing and sing so smooth without yelling or screaming on the microphone and would have the whole crowd in love with him speaking of Nat King Cole I might try to post up some more Nat King Cole's real acapellas on my channel
I grew up listening to this man love his music very much .
....and boy did he love Cuba and Cuban Music. He was The Greatest ever.
If I can hear a voice like Nat King Cole today???? I would have no reason to listen to anyone else's voice. PRICLESS

What a lovely man! ❤️
Beautiful silky voice...easy on the ears ..
Easy on the eyes too !!!!
And I just to listen to his voice singing just like this right here now.
He did so many great songs, but was there ever a sadder song than Nat's rendition of "Autumn Leaves?"
Beautiful vintage music sounds lovely even now
Loved HIM❤
The Christmas song that Quincy Jones mentioned is probably my favorite song also by Nat King Cole.
When my kids were little and would misbehave I would sing, “Straighten up and fly right”🎶😏
Cute lol
