      @@parkerstyers4812 I think it's actually more correct and historically accurate the way it is. Historically, executing nobles, particularly kings, was seen as a gigantic taboo, particularly if the one who does it is of a lesser rank.
      But I wish there were more dynamic ways to go about it. Maybe there should be a ledger of crimes and villainies committed, so instead of it being arbitrary it could be done after a trial. Maybe you should be able to take a criminal noble to a king and have him arbitrate and preside over a trial?
      And there should be a greater variety of deaths in the game as well. Plots, assassinations, and plague/disease, for one.

    There should be a feared trait so that there is atleast a trade off and not just a negative. I usually execute any army leader who attacks settlements in my direct control or who attack me directly. It would be cool if there was 1 a respect trait due to influence and or 2 a fear trait due to large battles won and executions

    • @hero_on_youtube
      @hero_on_youtube  7 месяцев назад +2

      That sounds interesting. If you are Devious and Cruel and Calculating or some combination, other Lords should hesitate to declare war. If you 'scare' enough of them, the vote to declare war will be turned down. I wonder if Traits play a role in that vote. I'll have to look into it.

    The whole game design in bannerlord has countless flaws and often feels lazy, the game unfinished. A kingdom declared war on me, raided villages and killed my people, so I went to battle with their lords.... Even after shooting their lords several times in the head during the battle, they don´t die and just keep coming back with new troops, like zombies, doing their bs all over again and again. So I decided to execute them.... - and geez, the reputation loss is ridiculous. It makes zero sense for the player to get punished for executions when the NPCs constantly declare war, pillage, burn and kill... You even get punished for executing the bandit that killed your family in the campaign. How does that make any sense at all ?
    Anyway, I just keep executing people in the game since the whole zombie-comeback is too annoying. Sadly it makes politics/interactions, even with other kingdoms, hard/impossible

    ive been on a execution spree yesterday playing the game but ive noticed serten clans dont seem get destroyed that easy with excuting there leaders. some of them keep replacing the AI NPCs to them to a annoying extend. ---- How ever cleaning up there major armys has destroy most of there lands / citys and castle areas + currently the faction i tried destroy is only left with 1 city how ever the game stil tells me that they are rich and strong with 1000 troops --- Stil i murderd a lot of them lords and connected clans to there faction...
    Im starting to wonder if i destroy the main faction lords if the whole thing is gone crumble but they might go die automaticaly due of the wars happening i wonder if ather faction gone besiege the last town they have.
    So far only benefit ive seen is that they got less armys because less lords / clan mercs connected to them due of executions. Stil ive only managed to destroy rebelion clans with killing the leaders.
    Dont know if that game has a serten preset for serten clans to exist ingame because so of them seem quickly replace members i kill so the clan never dies realy... even when im forcing a change to the eco system in the game = bit brain death coding?

The have mostly recruits and may not have the perks to level them faster. They generally have low skill levels, so they are easier to defeat. Executions is the way to go.
