Also wanted to throw out that size prosperity grows via excess food from both the settlement and bound villages, i prefer to not build the aqueduct at all. That way prosperity is only growing as far as it can actually feed itself. Same with the daily project, instead of the housing project, i pick the village hearth growth one to increase food and villager parties
Bit of a bannerlord noob here, even tho I’ve had the game for 2 years now. (I downloaded it for the custom battles don’t crucify me) so the first time I mustered up the courage to play I was extremely nervous. Nevertheless I managed to work my way all the way to vassal-ship for my bro Derthert !!! and was surprised at his generosity for gifting me a newly conquered castle and then he gave me another one. I was like this is so cool!!! until I had I had no money left…. 😢 so now I’m here

Correct, Royal Guard does not care what tier your clan is, but it does need you to be the leader of the Kingdom (either your own independent one or one of the existing ones via the current leader dying)
I’m pretty new to all this and whilst most of this makes sense, I’m stuck where you mention making sure all villagers produce 18 food to your fief. Where do we go to check that?
If I need to create a party to defend the fief from looters, how can I have multiple fiefs? Because it takes a lot of money to form a new part and I have a small number limit on companions
@@eazymerked I have about 300 max lvl troops. So whether I move them all or not, because I expect that the empire will soon attack me and they can destroy me without any problem. and how to limit the troops in the garrison?
@@rexcroatorum4281 if you have 300 max level troops in your garrison they will be eating your funds like crazy lol but it is the price you have to pay for war bro
@@rexcroatorum4281 there is if you go to your fief menu in the clan tab you can set a limit there I’m pretty sure. Also getting a governor with perks that decrease garrison wages would be a good idea. Governors are very underrated
Bro the sturgian King gave me 3 castles like immediately after I entered his service and each has over one hundred garrison in them I don’t wanna kick them out but they eat all my money 😭
sometimes its wise to kick/donate and just play defense. its a good way to get your engineers (yours or a companion) to level the engi skill up which makes siege defenses one of the best ways to make money. I run the perks that give me 5 loyalty and 5 security a day just sitting in them. Castles cant rebel so they made it to where they SWALLOW your money if the loyalty is low. So just keep the giga elites as a garrison and donate the rest to build your influence. you are gonna need a ton of that later. play defense especially if you are lucky to get a border fief because border wars is the best way to get high tier noble gear and denars without being boring and sinking time into smithing.
@@spoof6023 Eventually a bit later in the game I found the pay cap limit button and instantly became rich by having 3 dudes guarding each of my towns 😂 Conquered everyone besides the Mongols, at some point it becomes kinda boring cause of you having to take a billion castles which is always the same gameplay. It’s kinda weird that if you “send troops” and have say 1k army against 300 castle defenders, then about 300-400 of yours die, irrespective of how many high tier troops you got. But if you go into every battle yourself and just stand somewhere in the back doing nothing and eat a sandwich, then your troops capture the castle while only losing like 20 guys, sometimes I had the death toll in single digits even. The logic of this game is immaculate fs, but I still loved it tho 😆 Didn’t have any problems with influence cause I immediately established a bunch of laws that give influence, town loyalty and so on, had about 12k influence when I stopped playing. It was also crucial, as a king, to implement laws that give you money per fief in your kingdom, was earning 11k denars from policies alone by the end.
@@BigBoyG01 go to the fief and go to keep then garrison then transfer all troops to your party once it’s empty it won’t refill until you put at least 1 unit inside again
@@eazymerked since the enemies were constantly attacking me because my possessions are on the border, I filled the garrison of every city and castle to the maximum... perhaps the food consumption is excessive... but having 0 construction now I can't do anything.

If you check the food tab in the town it shows the village name and then how much they are producing

The construction is mostly based off of loyalty if your loyalty is low your construction will be low

Filling your garrison is always a bad idea and hover over your construction and see what it says

It won’t let me cancel the gardens. I keep clicking the left button on controller but it just cancels all the other buildings in queue
Then click the plus icon on the gardens and it should clear it from the que

Check the food tab inside your fief and it will show the village names then the number next to their names shows how much food they are producing
