Hi there. This is a lovely video. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask if you would class this as a “light mountain” route. I’m looking at buying a pair of Scarpa Terra boots and that phrase in your review video struck me as interesting. This type of hike in the Lake District is as tough as I will do, and I’m trying to make as informed a purchase decision as possible. (I’m in Australia, and I hiked the Pennine Way last year in trail runners - which were super comfy and adequate for that walk.) Thanks for the channel, which I’ve just stumbled upon.
Hi Andy- in those conditions, (ie dry), I would class it as light mountain walking ⛰️ especially if you stick to the trails 👍🏻 there’s a few narly bits, but the Terras should be a good choice, (especially if you have a reasonable level of fitness), and adding a pair of poles will help safety and help take the pressure off feet and ankles 😉 glad you liked the video, thanks for the sub ☺️ Enjoy your outdoors time, Andy 🌞🏕️🌀
