Something to note about Michigan is that he is a harsh critic, but he's always right. Most of the time when he's grilling someone, it's because they're being cocky or unfairly criticizing someone else.
his dialogue really shows what kind of person he is. most enemies will gloat upon the player’s defeat. however one of the possible lines has G1 immediately command his troops to recover injured personnel
You should read his arena entry. It gives even more glimpses into his personality. Along with this mission you get a really good glimpse into his personality. That's at least one thing this game has done better than all of the previous armored core games. The characters are way more interesting in general.
There's also the fact that he remembers *all of his forces' names.* Even the MT pilots are name dropped by Michigan, which shows a lot about who he is by comparison to Arquebus. This only gets compounded by the fact that when he comes in, he doesn't tell people to just go in and keep fighting if they're not ready, and if anything, *encourages people with second thoughts to go home.* Dude's soldiers don't follow him for some paycheck, they follow him on unbridled respect. Genuinely legendary pilot.
I hate the G1 fight, not because of the mission itself but because of the objective. Few corp people deserve any respect in the game, V.I, G1 and Rusty are the only three people who deserve any respect in the game. V.I doesn't fight for glory or to be the best ever, he fights to fight. Battles are where he thrives. G1 fights for mosty the same reasons, except he knows and respects the people he works and fights with. The fact he knew MT pilots fighting in the battle proves it well enough. Rusty is Rusty, need i say more?
@@nachalnik5738 I forgot about them, yeah. O'Keefe is a really cool dude, and his fight is sad mostly because he knows you're being tricked and tries to tell you. But, a mission is a mission and you can't help him. V.V is a really good father figure during the ambush the vespers mission, he really actually cares too.
V.VI Maeterlinck also seems fine. Her arena bio doesn’t have anything incriminating other than being loyal to the company and having reliable results. She also gets pity/sympathy points for how Snail set her up in my books.
Me personally, I would add G6 Red on the list, you can’t say much about him that’s negative. Plus he ends up being the last surviving Redgun (not including Iguazu being infused with Allmind)
Schneider frames might be quick and agile but it's the pilot that makes the heart of the machine. Seriously good job, You're the one going hard in that!
Lightweight mostly schneider frame carried me through my first playthough. I've said it once i'll say it again, the feeling of piloting a mech in AC6 is what I thought piloting a plane in Ace Combat would feel like - lightweight builds simply enhance that feeling and I LIVE FOR IT.
I appreciate how Michigan knew all of his people, any who spoke up at least. He's the stern father figure of Balam and I can seriously say I respect that attitude he dishes out to his subordinates.
Schneider frames were really what I wanted from a mech game. They make the already cool quick-boosts feel so nimble. It also really feels like you and Rusty are the only pilots fast enough to pilot a Schneider AC and makes the missions with/against him that much cooler
I love lightweight builds, Schneider really does make them the best. I’m warming to mid-weight, high agility with the mind beta legs though, that’s been fun
''the wall climber, the worm killer THE ONLY H13 WHO MANAGED TO LIVE THIS LONG!!!'' I pray we get DLC with alt ending's depending on what corp we decide to side with, would love to jump ship and work along side Balam and the red guns!
Better yet: a HEAVY Schneider AC! THAT would be awesome to see, and to see in general: what would (Company A)'s take on (concept that's opposite of what they're known for) look like?

I chose the ambush on the vespers over having to kill uncle Michigan. I expected him to die anyway against rusty but still its sad, never felt so sad about a game character
I love the first mission. While I wasn't having much trouble with it, I was equipped with weapons that had low ammo caps, so by the end, I had to fight with my fists and kicks. Fighting Michigan barehanded gave me a rush.
My friend told me he was struggling so hard with that mission. I beat s rank on a second try with schneider ac. Just zooming around at the speed of sound. Michigan cannot track fast targets well, and will miss almost every shot
Fuck, this is depressing. Dude cleared the Michigan mission barely breaking a sweat with suboptimal gear. Meanwhile here I am reading all the guides, putting together the most optimal AC, and still barely clearing shit by the skin of my teeth.
For what it's worth, I feel like I'm pretty good at the game and blasted a lot of the bosses people really struggled with, but Michigan whooped my ass for a while. OP is better than me, no doubt, but there's also a playstyle factor.
It seems as if there’s an eject mechanism, but I keep hearing about “dying” and “dead” and “managed to stay alive this far” and it’s bothering me lol do pilots actually die? In the older games it seems like they didn’t, but there’s also the “vital signs lost” in one of the trailers 😂
im not 100% sure if this is a unique dialogue but i havent seen it except in instances where i beat the mission saving Michigan for last, so it might be. cant remember the exact line but he says something to the effect of "guess it's up to me to show all you (descriptor of his subordinates as lazy or untrained/skilled or smth i cant remember) how to REALLY fight!" or something to that effect. i'll find the line and edit the comment with the real one once i find it. EDIT: cant find it catalogued anywhere online, i'd have to boot up the game and do the mission to actually grab the real line.

More like he always talks shit then loses the only fight you see him in. Just like all big talking army types.
@@keithsimpson2685Well, to be fair, the only fight you see him in is against 621. Not much he can do in that situation.
Also he's not just big talk Michigan is the Hero of Jupiter my guy and Walter's childhood friend from one of Jupiter's colonies
Michigan imo sees everyone as "powerful in their own right".
