Very awesome review man i heard alot of interesting things about this one i'm very curious due to the history of the movie and how it basically influenced those really crazy gore movies that would come along later. Seems like it can be a little cheesy but also i will admit the effects don't look that bad i remember the first time i heard about this was on a fantastic documentary about horror movies called Nightmares In Red White And Blue (Which if you haven't seen it yet i definitely recommend it, it's one of my fav documentaries out there) and they showed some scenes from the film and everyone was saying how bad the effects were i'm like sadly I've seen worse lol. But yeah great review i'm definitely interested in seeing more of hershal gordon lewis films!

They’re cheesy but fun!! And the effects look fine in this one! I have seen that documentary, it’s one of the few I don’t have, I have a video up of my doc collection, but I have ‘In Search of Darkness’ coming, and I’ve gotten a few more so I’ll be doing an update. My favorite may still be ‘Going to Pieces’, but I have quite a few. Once that new one comes in, I’ll do an update!
