Thank you, みさ先生 for this cute video today. I’m currently practicing my listening skills, to be able to understand japanese better when it’s spoken at natural speed. You still slowed down a bit didn’t you ;) And after all this practice I actually found myself understanding you! At least at the beginning, I lost it then xD But these videos of yours are really really helpful. Please know that you’re helping some people more than you might think :) Great content!
Thank you so much for posting this. I find it difficult to find listening practice that is around my level. Most of the time it's overly simplistic, or contains far too much that I simply don't understand. This was pretty much the level I was looking for.
I think she's more popular in America than Japan, but did you see any Aggressive Retsuko merchandise? I'm going to the Sanrio store in Tokyo but I don't think they'll have much! Your voice is very easy to understand, thanks for talking slowly for us!
Misa sensei, some of your videos (like the kureru x ageru, and lessons 31/32) went private, we can't see them anymore : ( Could you please please reupload them?? I'm loving your lessons so far, it's so helpful and Misa sensei is just the best/cutest. Thanks, much much love ❤
In my opinion the cc cover the japanese letter, (open it with the smartphone) so its kind a hard to read it. But i can learn to hear it with the cc. Maybe to me its better with the english translation and japanese that typed on the screen without the cc. Or just keep it as the video before this.
I hope you read this, what happened to the Japanese ammo grammar series? now video related to grammar related teaching aren't listed with a number. I was wondering if you can add end cards to your videos so its easier to navigate :) thank you just a suggestion
I love your voice! It's so raspy!It's so cool of it's naturally like that😻 But if you're sick, I hope you get rest❤️ Thanks for this video, it really helps me learn to listen to natives speak Japanese. Much love from USA💞💞💞 じゃ,またね!
WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE! Should I have understood almost everything without the substitles? I mean, did you write an easy to understand text? Because it impressed me how I understood with ease, like "holy shit, did I know Japanese without knowing it?" O.o
@@kunstderfugue My understanding is that くらい and ぐらい are interchangeable? kurai seems more common but I agree gurai is easier for me to say (Disclaimer: I am by no means fluent. I lived in Japan for about a year and a half, so I just got decent at looking stuff up ;) The best method I've found to check my answers for casual phrases is to google sentence fragments with "quotes" around them (so that it's that exact phrase and not just those words anywhere in a sentence) to see if there's a lot of hits on Japanese pages for that sentence fragment; if there isn't then either a) you're being too specific, or b) probably nobody ever says it. (If I'm writing something a Japanese friend will read and the google-check results are kind of unclear/nonexistant, then I'll try different versions and if I can't find anything, I'll go with a simpler version of what I want to say). If a sentence fragment gets a bunch of hits, then that's a good indicator that it's a phrase that people actually use. Then you check what comes before/after that sentence fragment in the first several search hits, to see if it works for what you're trying to say or not... then add something and search again... you just sort of do that with bits of your sentence, until your whole phrase is getting google results, and just change the most specific qualifiers at the end. (Eg. If you don't have a good guess, I'd google for forum questions of the most basic part of the phrase. In this case, first I googled [how to say "I'd rather die" in Japanese], and ignored the google translate result and automated dictionary results, because they're not going to be reliable. There is a forum post asking "how do I say 'I'd rather die than marry her'" and there's an answer from a native speaker. You see that he's used "(dictionary form verb)-kurai nara shinda hou ga mashi da". Take out the verb and google the rest of the phrase in kana; it gets a ton of hits. Clearly it's a popular enough phrase. Then switch up the verb at the beginning of the sentence (iku, au, etc.) and see if THAT gets any hits. It gets enough. Then just go for it. The end. :P) P.S. Also I'm not normally that rude but I mean if he wants to come here and troll, then... ^^;
PLEASE eliminate the romanji subtitles. terrible for Japanese practice. I can't focus on the Japanese text because my eyes automatically see the english.
I think they're okay to stay, they were really helpful when I was still learning how to read hiragana/katakana. If you focus hard enough it's easy to only see the Japanese and you'll get used to it pretty quickly so you don't even need to focus anymore. Optionally, cover the lower half with something. Tho that might be just my culture thing since a lot of movies have both Finnish and Swedish subtitles in the theaters so I'm already customed reading the other half only.
ooo my boi Code watching Misa haha and I agree though anyone learning Japanese should've learned full hiragana/katakana in first 1-2 weeks so there is really no need for Romaji subs because there is furigana on kanji anyway

Maybe soon I might not need ensubs
This was great listening practice and the subtitles helped to check if I was right. Thanks so much for making these videos :)

You know you can move the subtitles, right?
Click and drag the subs somewhere else then :P

I would rather die than go there. How do I say that in Japanese? :D
Maybe 行くより死にたい、 but I bet there's a better, more advanced way to say it.
"行くくらいなら死んだほうがましだ" Oops no wait sorry I meant to say "あんたに会うくらいなら、死んだほうがましだ" 9_9;
