    Mk2 is a great upgrade… lighter, more controls, better IQ and autofocus, and still €1000 less than the overpriced Sony lens

      Its almost 100g lighter than before. f2.8 Zoom lenses don‘t come for free.

      @@ElementaryWatson-oxo you are missing the point, because you believe for everybody, which is dumb. I do landscape at the dusk and evening plus also some astro, I also record DJ sets and make portraits, for all of that I need a good aperture zoom lens. Case closed, goodbye.

      For landscape at low light, a faster lens is preferred for low ISO setting. Dynamic range is effected by ISO. Hope that is understood.
      Now, you don't even need a dedicated camera for photography, your phone will work too. That depends on who you.
