It would work a lot better if you painted the inside with Stuart Semple's ultra black paint. Other ultra black paints are available, but his is the cheapest. I think he is on version 4.0 now.
I spent 5 weeks renovating an old house, new kitchen, plastering walls, new electrics and plumbing but now we've decided to stay in Thailand. The idea was to unlock my frozen pension and rent the house out here, we would've been rolling in it. Maybe in the future.
I misread it because I was thinking you were gonna do the one where you push a silk into an egg and then show the audience the silk and then repeat the illusion and pull the sticker off and show that it's a real egg and crack it open.
Please forgive me, I'm a little confused. At 2:45, you said you were using 3 mm card, as you usually do. You normally use 2 mm. I just wanted to be sure for when and if I attempt to replicate this. Other than this little bit of misunderstanding, well done
I'm sorry, was I NOT supposed to see the two black panels covering the egg that were obviously pushed by the sticks? Maybe this would be a better trick if the construction was better, the panels MUCH thinner and had a better fit.
This could be done with two mirrors, if you have them on hand. It's interesting to see how the trick can be noticed with cardboard but much less with mirrors.
Yeah, I had to laugh when he opened the front panel after inserting the "sword of Damocles", and seeing the dust smudges on the two side panels pushed in. :)
I love this channel
This is a real cool trick! Looks easy enough to put together and to perform! Thank you for sharing this!

Classic trick!!
Mine is much larger and uses someone's head (attached obviously)
Someone's going to say that was 'eggcellent', Don, so it may as well be me.
No Corney yokes please!
Hi Don, welcome back, did you have a good trip?

Just to complicate matters more I usually use 2.4 mm cardboard. I shall be more specific in future.
@letsmakemagic8233 sorry. I didn't mean to cause an issue
