So the first coin gets forced into the hole in the device and the 2nd coin above the slide gets pushed into the slide hole.

Great trick, but the most important thing is remembering where to put the wooden skewer. Be very embarrassing to fumble around looking for the hole. As my ex wife used to say!

Not gonna lie, you got me with that one 😂 thought it was a completely different method, one involving a control rather than a force, so you fooled me utterly. Great method though, missed the force even if it makes complete sense in hindsight, plus this one is way more reliable on the prep than what I cooked up 👍

The same cards like duplicate saw a difference one was the 3 of hearts and the other was a 3 of diamonds over all I did like the magic trick and it was a unique one

This is a great trick! you can even do it with CDs if you don't want to cut some circles. additional idea : force someone into chosing one specific CD from a selection of 10, put it in the device, pass the ribbon through and pull out the other CD, another copy of the one you got 'chosen'
