Hey, you did it. Yeah...now do something to celebrate the 104K subscribers you have with all your accomplishments this past year. You both ROCK! much love💕
Guys with all the work that you are doing with the repairs and the inspector i wouldn't move from there. You will have everything done. You have a beautiful home a nice shop plus you room you do your videos and music recordings. Don't move, you have it made there.
You installed the insulation backwards..The paper should go toward the inside...I think you know that but forgot due to installing it from the outside...If left like that and if the inside is heated it'll collect moisture and could rot out the walls ..
Dang dude that’s a roofing nail gun … with the round magazine that you got .you can get a nail gun at Home Depot for under $100 I got mine for under 100 the nails were like 25 I just looked and they have nail guns at Home Depot for $88 framing nail guns you can run them on almost any air compressor.
Not sure what it is that makes one or both of you two not want to stay together but whatever it is you really need to figure it out and stay together. Otherwise I think your going to regret it more later especially for your daughter. I know things have not always been perfect for you both but the grass is not always greener on the other side like it may seem either. Wish you both the best and especially Ms. Ember Wild. Congrats on the property repairs coming to an end!
Please dont leavw your home its beautiful place wild.mountain and its going to have all repairs done and moving is to stressfull and this is a great place to raise your daughter
The bad news is you installed the insulation wrong, vapor barrier, paper side goes to the inside. To be done right the drywall on the inside should be removed and the insulation installed from the inside and stapled to the studs.
If this is a duplicate comment, I apologize. Phone call interrupted my typing, and when I got back to it, the video had closed. So here we go again. Great job on getting this done! It's great having an awesome friend like Jaylena to help. That's what friends do, help each other! Thank goodness for air nailers! Just a tip, when you do have to swing a hammer, swing it like you mean it. 😆 Smart move waiting to call for inspection. Always best to double check your own work. Also, I learned from this, because I just had to know why you have to place nails every two inches on a portal wall. Google gave me the answer. And it makes sense. Lol. See, you can teach an old dog (me, a 66 year old woman) new tricks! Love and respect to you, Jaylena and Ember! ❤
Great job getting the siding on. Nail guns are a pain in the caboose to adjust, but a great tool when you have that much to nail. Enjoy your accomplishments, home is looking awsome.
The wall with the window needed to be a sheer wall. The window defeated the sheer concept. It had to be boarded up to preserve the sheer strength of the wall.
Good job Issac. Man, you must be exhausted with it all...Well, tomorrow is another day. So why not go out to dinner if you can and try to relax...you're nearly there...Have a Merry Christmas and the New Year will be better I'm sure. Smile, you're on the last mile! LOL. Bro, my 2024 wasn't that good either, hang in there.
Thanks for sharing you're home troubles/projects with us ! You two work really well together! Glad you were able to stay best friends for that beautiful little one's sake !!❤
Great seeing U 2 work together ❤️. U guys work together so great . Thanks for helping Issac out Jaylena. U Guys R A Amazing Team . God Bless Ya'll. Merry Christmas 🎅 🤶🎄To All , And To All A Good Night !! Love Ya'll Always 💓 💕 💗
You guys are a great team when it comes to knocking things out! 💪 Hope all goes well with the inspection. Can't wait to hear how it goes and hopefully put all this behind you. ✌️
I always love enjoy seeing you both together both of you just seem so happy when building working together... One thing for sure when you guys get done with this home you both will know ya''ll will have a good strong safe newly built beautiful home and definetly know of all the ends and outs... Best to all 3 of ya'll .. Bless your patience Isaac💗💗💗💯💯😇😇😇 we
Good work on this entire headache. Issac you again have not disappointed. The work you and Jaylena have done to make this almost done is amazing. This chapter will be over and you can go about life👍
Unless there’s something wrong with the nailer I’d say you would have needed more air pressure. And sometimes if you allow the gun to bounce when you nail. The nail will not go all the way in.
Im sorry but i know im from Mississippi and we dont have to deal with building codes. But good gosh, that many nails? That close apart? Seems like overkill. Im so glad its not that strict here.
I have never seen anything have to be nailed every two inches. Crazy. But like you said whatever they have listed is what you have to do. Glad it is close to the end.
I’ve put up a lot of insulation in my day and the paper face has always been facing the inside. 🤔 I totally understand your frustration with all they have put you through. 😖
That’s what I read your Insulation should face the paper side for moisture barrier should face towards the warm side so when the warm air meets the cold air it prevents moisture. When you took off the siding you notice the old barrier the paper isn’t facing you. That’s going to be a problem if not corrected. But if the garage is unheated may not be a problem.
@@isaacturnerit It doesn't matter if it not heated, it is insulated and drywalled. It will always be warmer inside. Do your research. You will have to different temperatures from inside and outside the moisture will soak into the insulation without a vapor barrier. A perfect habitat for mold.
HS! That's way more nails along the edges than you need. Can't imagine code calling for nails every two inches. And as a previous poster said that's a roofing nail gun framing nailer would have been better. But that said, you made it work.
You guys work so well together. It seems a bit extreme with the nails. Is the rest of the siding nailed the same? You sure code ain't just f'ing with you?😂. It is looking good. Next time you need a tool check the pawn shops. Yes Isaac I am bestowing you with my unneeded advice. Hug your Ladies✌🏻🥰
In my state if it was not code at time of build you don’t have to make it code when it dells. Example in the1980s no such thing as gfi so you don’t have to make a home gfi. You need to research what was code at time of build. Also my 30 years of housing industry the home inspection an not take down a wall to see if it has tie downs. They are picking on you.

I like watching you two work together .
Thank you
Love how you are maintaining such a positive attitude thru out this whole crazy mess. Best wishes on the inspection.🙏

I am actually glad you do not edit out mistakes. Real life! At least for people who did not have prior experience.

Nail gun worked really well along with your hard work. You all have a good day
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yay! Your getting there! Your hard work will get you to the end before you know it. So glad you have a talented helper. You two are awesome together!
Can’t wait to be done!!!
Good luck with your inspection -- I'm sure it will work out for you!
Thank you!!

oh no
Is this a bloopers video?

Fosho
At this point I'd be willing to bet it had something to do with "Code" requiring a particular type of nail that requires an expensive roofing nailer.
Not sure what it is that makes one or both of you two not want to stay together but whatever it is you really need to figure it out and stay together. It’s ok it’s only a Garage and the inspector didn’t see it or require it ….
@@pad1727I’m sure some jerk will report it.
@@pad1727so Isaac you don’t care …. Why not do it right ..makes a big difference …

You nailed it. 😂

Great job getting the siding on.
Nail guns are a pain in the caboose to adjust, but a great tool when you have that much to nail.
Enjoy your accomplishments, home is looking awsome.
Took us a min to figure it out!!
Awesome ,smile Isaac 😊 its going to be great job 😊😊😊
Thank you for watching :)
I probably missed it, but why did you have to get rid of the windows ? Seems like they would be handy to see mystery sounds without going outside.
I dont think it was explained if it was I missed it too !
Yes the window was not up to code
Don't think there was an explanation why it wasn't up to code. The permitting/inspector just said it had to be all wall.
The wall with the window needed to be a sheer wall. The window defeated the sheer concept. It had to be boarded up to preserve the sheer strength of the wall.
Problem with windows found on Property Update: Problems are almost done 3:23-4:04.

Great job Issac & Jaylena, I think y’all did a better job than the original fella 👍🏼👏🏼
"Original Fella"and the local laws there are the reason he ended up with all this expense and time wasted! Totally unfair!

I think I would have priced a nailer at a pawn shop or resale shop. Best of luck, stay warm.
Just rented one was only 30 bucks! The nails were the only expensive part.
Great job you guys. Hope the inspection goes well. You seem to work very well together.👏🏽😊

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you didn't use screws? Code? (I don't like to hammer and don't have a nailer. I use screws for every thing.)
Code
The very best of luck with the last inspection hopefully guys! Fingers tightly crossed for you here
