The development of young players is on a higher level in europe, since we train more fundamentals, systems and play and train much earlier with the men`s teams on the highest level in europe. In the US, AAU is ruining your player education big time. It is more about playing and builiding brands/names than learining the basics of the game. You rarely see euros, who are not skilled. Giannis with his incapeability to shot, is a rare exception. Luka and Nikola are the best example of players, who could do it all on the highest level from young age on. Both played the way the play now even with 12-13 years old. Only thing they can`t do is, is jumpe, lol..
It’s not about location it’s about class. Joker and Giannis are physically gifted as much as they are high IQ, like any generational talent. Luka’s dad is also a basketball star in Europe like Dell Curry. The issue moving forward will be what happens to all the players that don’t have generational talent (sons of Professional Athletes taking all those opportunities -Gil and Kenyon)
