Good tutorial, but it wouldn't be necessary if FrSky had decent documentation. You make it look easy, but there seems to be a million ways things can go wrong that aren't covered here. What do you do when the TD SR12 won't bind? Why did my radio warn me "Receiver still on!" when I shut the radio off AFTER I powered the receiver off?
@rcnfo1197 I've never had a bird issue. I would suggest tou have the most updated firmware on both the TX and RX. I say this bc it could be an issue if the firmware are to far apart on both devices. I have this happen here and there. I notice when I power off the plane it takes a few seconds for the x20 to see thats its "off" then ya get that alarm. If u wait till u see the reciever strength disappear in the upper right hand corner then pwr off tx you don't get the alarm 👍
Thanks. Good to know. I finally just registered the receiver again and then did bind and that worked. Both had latest firmware. Only change was to power output (from 10mW to 100mW), which triggered an alert to re-bind the receiver.
Hey so I tried to copy the download over into my receivers folder as you showed doing on your computer and my computer tells me some parts of the file cannot be copied …what do I do in this situation?
You would make a very good teacher. Thank you for taking the mystery out of programming the Frsky X20.
Thank you! 🇺🇲👊
Great video dude! Nice to see someone else out here making some good, informative content for the FrSky owners. Subbed
Appreciate you kind words. I'm loving the Frsky TXs I program them as simple as possible. More videos to come! 👍🇺🇲👊
Noonz, Excellent Video ! Many thanks for making it, much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful! ✌️🇺🇲👊👍
Great video. Way better than what I was trying.
Wow, thanks 🇺🇲👊👍
Excellent tutorial, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Good job and thanks for sharing. Biggest issue I have heard is all the updates frsky keeps pushing. Thats why Dads RC Hangar is switching from fraky.
I hear ya on that one FRSKY STEVE addressed that on his FB hopefully dying down. Lol
@@NoonzAirborneRC that new radio is deffinetly sweet though!
very good explanation

@rcnfo1197 yes you are correct. Changing the power level always prompts a rebind. Glad ya got it up and running

How do you power the receiver ? with 2lipo 2S ? Is there HV servo ?
@BaptisteRC-e1o you power the reciever by the onbard BEC one output 7.4v to brakes and other lead of 6v to reciever
@@NoonzAirborneRC So the 6V from the Bec directly on the pin ? Or to the XT30 input ?
Oh dear!
