I like blink 182. But Tom DeLonlg to me is such the image/voice for emo angsty pop punky mostly white dudes. Preferably living somewhere in the Midwest. But my country souther white hubby somexs channels his inner Tom DeLong and its amusing to me. Bc he likes blink 182 too & he inmitates him so effortlessly. It's so funny to me when he gets around his dad bc it's forever the same routine. He sings horribly & has no shame. & he doesnt phase his dad any. & if I laugh his dad will say stuff like he sounds good when he tries tho. ...lmao. & then I think he make subtle jabs 🙄... at his dad, through songs. I read all these comments, and I realise that music plays such an important role in our emotional lives. I see people hurt, I see people longing for the good old days, wanting better times, or missing a loved one. Growing up as a young adult was not as much fun as I hoped it would be...but it's not all that bad. I used to listen to this song when I was in my early twenties...I am now 41, and my little girl is 3 weeks away from arriving into our lives. I cannot wait to meet her, but at the same time I fear for her safety, knowing what dangers and sadness life holds. I will do my best to protect her, and will play her songs like this, to remind her that no matter how hard life gets, always keep your head up and move forward...because after the darkest of nights, the sun always has to come up. To all of you people hurting today...stay strong and stand firm.

I'm 22 almost 23, 7 beers deep depressed as fuck, I was already expecting to go to Bootcamp for the Marines but I used to smoke alot when I had my fiance, we are broken up now and my only goal in life is to start a family when I'm young that's why I want the Marines so I can support them, only reason I haven't been to bootcamp is because I haven't pee'd clean yet, life sucks when you have mature goals and every female around you is just wanting to be a whore, I just want to start a family already
Thank You for the last paragraph,I just lost my home and most of what I own to hurricane Ian and even though I know the lights at the end of the tunnel it's real hard to see right now l,the last two week have been a rollercoaster of emotions, and I think I just needed to read those words So thanks you.. again
When this song was popular 20 years ago, I lost the love of my life due to a drunk driver. He was only 25. I never married after his loss. I have spent 20 years asking the same question every night 'Will you come home and stop this pain tonight, stop this pain tonight?' and he never does. I still cry when I hear this song. I love you Charlie. I miss you.
Although the band has never regularly appeared on my personal playlists, Blink 182 was one of her favorite bands. So, of course, this song resonates throughout my memories of her. I'm not mad at that, and it's a perfect soundtrack for the times that she's on my mind. "I miss you." 💔⚘️
I love how blink's songs have the power to freeze time and save memories forever. It's like everytime i listen to it i remember all of the times i listened to it, and it hits hard.
It is because of our experiences we relate to different parts of a song, or movie and anything in life. Things we have already passed in life, we don't listen to. But musicians that carry on forever probably get it.
It's hard to express how this song makes me feel. I relate to it when I'm 18 and when I'm 38. I miss all of you, I miss this time in my life, I miss how music affected me.
I’m still crying listening to this song in 2020. This song makes me think of a good friend I met a little over a year ago. She was one of the few people who would actually listen to me and showed she cared for me. About a few weeks ago, I waited for her at work but she never showed up. She came in at around 12 o’clock noon that day gathered up her belongings and said she was leaving. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She had a lot of very bad luck in her life. Elisabeth if you’re reading this, I miss you. I hope we can one day meet again and you can tell me that everything worked out for you.
Thewatcheronthewall she made a song with Niki Manaj in February this year and it’s a shitty feminist thing. I preferred it when she sang about Sk8er boys
I don't know why but this song hits home with me. My dad was with me in 2005 before he committed suicide later that night in that evening we spent together. I wish that night I had with him never ended. I miss you dad. I would do anything to get you back. We listened to Blink 182 together often. I miss you dad. Thank you 182 for getting me through some rough times. I listen to this song every time I miss my dad.

December 6th 2024.. I just turned 35.. remembering all the times listening to this song when I was in school lol wow.. life moves fast folks.. we will wish this never ends for sure!
I turned 35 in may and a year ago I lost my high-school sweetheart and father to my oldest daughter.. this song means so much to me since he always played it to me.. I miss him terribly.
I just turned 35 as well, I lost my golden retriever to stomach cancer a couple of months ago. No lie, I listened to this song on repeat for like 12 hours straight just balling my eyes out. 😢miss you Stella ❤
There’s a video of RUclips of them recording and writing it... you can tell they’re chasing something huge. At one point when mark starts sayin “I miss you , miss you” (per travis’ suggestion) Tom says “that’s awesome, we just hit on something BIG”
Im 21. Lost a lot of family, friends. Hearing Blink-182 since i was a little kid. Inked the smiley on the top of my arm. this song let's me remember all things i lost. Rest in Peace. To all who lost also a lot of ppl. Stay strong u will see them again. Maybe not tomorrow but it will happen one day. Have a good Night guys.
I felt that exact way about my husband of over 20 yrs. The love felt like it was completely gone, all his efforts were a faded memory of what he once was when he loved me unconditionally no matter what. We're still trying to work thru our struggles, and he is well aware of the loss in our marriage and relationship....we both said we wanted to go back to the start, as well....its hard because its never the same once things change. U can try all day long, but no matter what, theres always that feeling in the back of ur mind that its never going to be the same, or anything like it was before.
Just listened to “One More Time” and had to come back to this and watch it. The nostalgia hits hard with these two songs. What a moment to have lived and to be alive now.
I see a lot of people in the comments liking other comments from weeks ago but that means we all keep coming back and listening to this song... we all depressed and are all going through some shit so I hope you all get by and it gets better good luck everyone
Daniel T fucking true, so depresing true, seek for the light. People always hurts with no intention. Sometimes it’s hard to be the demaged one when life can find her own way to happines. There will always be lost and empty souls if you say the right name to bring that issues back. Love and respect✌🏽
I feel you, I turned 30 in July, I look back at the past 18 years wondering why I left that “feeling” behind. Like there’s something I had back then that just isn’t with me anymore; I guess maybe times are just different, I think social media ruined the culture we had. Things would be better today if there was still VH1, MTV, and FUSE, and we stayed up until 1am watching music videos on cable television and things were more simple.
Happy belated birthday brother. Life is great and even if there are ups and downs, we should always remember, we could never truly appreciate the best times in life without experiencing the hardest times.
Remember being a ward of the state in Arizona when this song came out and I was forced to go into group homes. I can’t tell you how bad this song made me wanna see my mama. Once I finally got out the group homes she still couldn’t put down hard drugs.. at least not until she got breast cancer. She passed in 2014 when I tried finishing college and now this shit hits even harder. I miss you mama.
Honestly that sucks, but all you can do at this point is learn from that and make sure not to make those mistakes. Maybe work in a field that helps troubled youth. CONGRATS ON AT LEAST GOING TO COLLEGE.
I miss you, miss you Hello there The angel from my nightmare The shadow in the background of the morgue The unsuspecting victim Of darkness in the valley We can live like Jack and Sally if we want Where you can always find me And we'll have Halloween on Christmas And in the night we'll wish this never ends We'll wish this never ends I miss you, I miss you I miss you I miss you Where are you? And I'm so sorry I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight I need somebody and always This sick strange darkness Comes creeping on so haunting every time And as I stared I counted The Webs from all the spiders Catching things and eating their insides Like indecision to call you And hear your voice of treason Will you come home and stop the pain tonight Stop this pain tonight Don't waste your time on me You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) Don't waste your time on me You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) Don't waste your time on me You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) Don't waste your time on me You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) Don't waste your time on me You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) Don't waste your time on me You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) I miss you, I miss you I miss you, I miss you I miss you, I miss you I miss you, I miss you
One of the songs played at my brother’s funeral last week. Most caring and chill dude I ever knew. Love you, bro, and will miss you until we are back together forever. 🙏
This song brings back a lot of fun times... the 2000s just felt so different. So nostalgic. Nowadays life is so boring.. always the same thing. I rarely feel the same feeling I did when I was younger.. This song brought back a lot of that same feeling.
I was 22 when this came out and now im nearly 43 (but I dont feel older)! I had just left the Army... this song reminds me of my youth and friends... life goes so fast like a blink of an eye
Real fans of music would just be a honey badger and realize that everyone has a different taste in music and not worry about bands/artists covering music. Don't let it get to your head. Listen to the songs you enjoy and let the emotion in it flow though you
Steel Titan I'll try not to let it get to my yed. Anyway, musically speaking it's far too repetitive to factually considered "good". All that matters to masses though is how catchy it is
I found this by typing "where are you" into RUclips's search bar, being the only coherent lyrics I remembered from the 8 years since it last played on the radio. I'm so happy I found it.
I remember back in 2007-2008ish. I was only 14. I met a guy, we became friends. He was 16/17. I knew he had a girlfriend, we kept our friendship platonic. He showed me Blink 182 songs, he loved this band. We talked about anything, school, dreams, anything under the sun, as cliche as it may sound. We were really comfortable with each other. It was bliss and pure, no sexual things. But we found ourselves falling for each other day by day, so we decided to stop communicating. Whenever I come across a Blink 182 song here on YT, I sometimes wonder how is he doing these days. I hope he's happy wherever he is as I am perfectly fine with my life right now.
Destiny Hood "stop being a stereotypical idiot." seriously? it's just a joke. and the softest joke in the world at that. stop taking yourself, and 5SOS so seriously.
Yes seriously. I hate when people just assume that fans of mainstream bands are children. (5 seconds of Summer, One Direction etc.) And ofc I'm going to take 5SOS seriously, they're my favourite band. They saved my life in ways you couldn't even imagine.
Reminds me of the times I spent with my friends... struggling in high school, hanging out at the skate park, drinking, having deep conversations. Rip to the friends I lost to suicide and addiction. I miss you all deeply.
You don't know how good a moment is until it becomes a memory.

Although the band has never regularly appeared on my personal playlists, Blink 182 was one of her favorite bands. So, of course, this song resonates throughout my memories of her. I'm not mad at that, and it's a perfect soundtrack for the times that she's on my mind. "I miss you."

You are not wrong! Songs mean more and less as we get older and experience. I've thought this since 15.
It is because of our experiences we relate to different parts of a song, or movie and anything in life. Things we have already passed in life, we don't listen to. But musicians that carry on forever probably get it.
Really
