IT'S SAD that everyone came to post about her drug situation. 2021 Antonella got her life together and moving forward. Antonella stay strong...Stay focused on a better you, stay positive. I'm wishing you all the best life have to offer.❤
It’s not that it was a horrible performance, it’s just that the song was so iconic that she was unfairly criticized for singing it differently than normal.
Antonella somehow slid off the grid and made some unwise choices. I don't think she is a bad girl though.. I want to encourage her to find the right path though. You come from a good family and I am sure you have their support. Learn from your mistakes and grow...Wishing you the best.
@@mikemo949 Yo - Im guessing the "10 years to life" comment is what you are referring to? No, if my memory serves me correctly (not looking it up on google) she was arrested for something and the potential sentence was 10 years to life in prison!
Didn't remember her, the drug article brought me here also. So many great stories from the AI show, this is not one of them. There but for the grace of God go I. It isn't just drugs, it is a powerful people killing drug.
She did OK, but really only one person can sing this: Steven Tyler! I remember her from "Idol" a long time ago, but couldn't remember what she sounded like; she looked like Eva Mendes
Excellent voice, but I don’t think this was the right song for her. I think her voice is very suited for R&B or soul, which is demonstrated in her audition.
R&B and Soul is a lot more difficult to sing because it have lots of levels and runs. Listen to Angela Winbush..Angel then come back and say she should sing R&B and Soul.
Me To...if your messin with that stuff ..Then shockingly this court case can give you another chance...Your emotions are so strong.. reflected in all your idol talk.(.Talk to the King of Kings).
Derrik Marshall She’s been locked up bro. It was a arraignment. She was part of a big heroin ring in my city. She was the small fish that lead to the big fish. They seized almost 20 million in heroin cocaine and marijuana and 100k in cash from a auto mechanic shop. Totally under the raider.
The press was horrible to her during this time. I remember being maybe in Middle School? All the kids were talking about it. But I honestly hated she got to stay but all those seasons back Frenchie had to go BUT Jaunita's Performed has changed my life SO I will take it. Anyone who needs their life to change I recommend looking up that performance by Juanita. Somedays I would randomly think What About the Children ? And if she wanted me to always think about the children? Well she succeeded. Ive donated too many small charities who help children and I credit Juanita. Who's I would have never seen perform if Frenchie stayed. But it would have been amazing to see what Frenchie could do . Ah!
First of all, she is innocent until proven guilty by the court of law. NOT by the public. There have been people out there who were innocent, but the public said they were guilty without knowing the facts. And this is coming from a person who has a degree in criminal justice.
A BEAUTIFUL job really at the beginning of the song (while she was seated), but what soon followed, unfortunately, wasn't as good. Still, kudos to her for her attempt at some very ambitious vocals throughout the entire song, and also in choosing a "big" song, to begin with.
@Eddie MeadowsI guess I misread it. I thought I read that she had previously plead guilty and was sentenced to 10 - life today. I guess this is another example of fake news ? LOL. Oh well whatever it is, it's a shame. I thought she was good on American Idol. Having tried out for Americas' Got Talent, I know what a let-down not making it is.
I see a lot of comments enjoy her voice. I think she six but that's just my opinion. I can't tell her to keep her day job because that involves running drugs.
She is from the east coast - Point Pleasant, New Jersey - where some of the highest statistics for fentanyl overdose are. . . Think of all the parents and families in pain because of mules like her ...she was caught trying to deliver two pounds of fentanyl. . .
I know she was caught up in drugs. Drugs certainly take the soul into dark places. The problem with her is that she was convicted of selling Fentanyl, which is a deadly drug if too much is taken. Therefore, she committed a crime that could have killed others. If she was caught using it then I would be sympathetic and hoped the courts would have remanded her to a rehab facility rather than prison. Sad and tragic. Prayerfully she will turn her life around and come out of prison humble, remorseful, and ready to be an asset to society.
She left a shoe box of fentanyl in a rental car. It’s easy to gloat over her but you almost see this American Idol as being a catalyst for her downfall. We should all hope she turns it around she does have a lot going for herself
I'm having a hard time trying to download the video. Here's a link to watch the episode. It's around the 22 minute mark. en.channel.pandora.tv/channel/video.ptv?ch_userid=irubjwh&prgid=4191409&categid=2176226&page=25
I dunno, maybe she was onto something with that fentanyl - or whatever. For me, it's dextromethorphan hbr. and alcohol. She really shouldn't serve time for something she believes in and was trying to help others with. Now she has to be locked-up and miserable. Just a counterpoint. Here in California, we can smoke joints. (I don't like marijuana - it throws me into panic attacks) It's a victimless crime she "committed." All I'm saying. It shouldn't be a crime and she shouldn't be wasting away in some cell.
yes yes yes she is the much hotter version she still has a bad tooth to gum ratio even though she has big teeth like aoc but much prettier you nailed it
I think her voice was pretty good. The judges wernt rude to her or anything and I think maybe with a little bit more training she could become a great singer and performer.... Too bad she sold heroin :( but i agree with the judges about pitch and she probably was really nervous

Fentanyl brought me here.
I just read that lmfao got the notification 😂😂🤣💀☠
Me too🤣🤣🤣
lmao mee too
Yup
10 year mandatory minimum. She could get life but i bet she gets the mandatory minimum.
I'd like to thank my mum and dad, friends, fellow musicians, and my drug dealer for helping me get here.
hahahaha

Yess she got star potential 👏
For prison lmao
She’s one of those people that sing a private lullaby perfectly, but if she puts force behind her voice, it’s constantly on the brink of collapse.
Her actual tone isn't bad, but she has very little control over her voice. Don't know if that could be taught.
Like Britney Spears ? Or Aaliyah
I met her and she is nice person. I wish her the best.
'10 years to life' brought me here - And actually going back listening again she was not that good....
Is that a film

"I'm 20 years old, I'm from Point Pleasant, New Jersey and I'm a drug smuggler"
She never really recovered from her bad idol run. Hopefully she can turn life around.
She certainly will be playing to a captive audience.
I remember watching her season thinking she was good. Now all these years later I now realize she is not as good as I thought. WOW!!!
Matt .T Same
I just thought she is super beautiful and a decent singer
Well, at least now i know where to score some heroin.
@SGT. YorkIt's colloquial/vulgate English. It's also the internet, they don't have to appeal to your 'high standards' of vocabulary. /s
She selling that stuff.. LMAO
She was lmfao 🤣😂💀☠
😂😂
Antonella you did miss a thing. You missed this note, that note, every note
She did OK, but really only one person can sing this: Steven Tyler! I remember her from "Idol" a long time ago, but couldn't remember what she sounded like; she looked like Eva Mendes
She can sing this to her cell mates for the rest of her life. They’re going to like her a lot!
She got out of jail somehow 🤷🏻♂️
It's not about song selection it's about drug selection lmfao fentanyl is not the way to go 🤣😂💀☠

Well she will be missing alot for the next 10 years to life....
Randy be like "Dawg, it was flat, like your chest"
Just got arrested for drug smuggling
She’s gotta pay the bills she didn’t get a singing career
Is it just me or does she sound like she can’t sing or like hit the right pitch 💀💀💀💀
Karaoke night?
that background music was extremely loud
Sad to see her parents in the audience rooting her on. Wonder what they are thinking now that she's been busted for drug possession?
Her dad was smiling away as they drug her thru the mud.
“But drugs are better. So I’m outta here.” lol poor soul

I think somebody had bad hearing this girl's way flat
she was part of a drug ring, and the feds were able to catch everyone because when questioned she sang like a bird
Just got arrested for selling Drugs

She was just charged federally for trafficking over 2 lbs of fentanyl
Simon's..brutally honest! Ha ha lmao..
Her being chosen over Marisa Rhodes was a joke
Yeah but antonella had the look of a star
Who was she paired with when they let her into the top 24 at :46?
Marisa Rhodes.
Now she can sing in a prison for next 10 years
“Jailhouse Rock.”
She's off key where it counts
Paula is always nice in her critiques. Opposite of Simon who can be harsh.
I think the beginning was good, especially 1:15-1:20. However, towards the chorus her voice seemed shaky and flat. Overall I’d give it a C-
Hope she gets life.....
It's really annoying to see people commenting things saying she was doing drugs while on Idol. That obviously isn't true
how do you know? were u hiding under her bed, you freak.
Fentanella
She really wasn't that bad! Lol. Btw, I'm here bc I just read an article she's facing 10 to life for drugs. So crazy.
Rock and roll and drugs goes a long way.
I liked her voice. Some of it was off but most was good.
Got any Tabs or Percs?

her singing makes sense now, we needed to be high on fentanyl to get it

Gosh she was off key on the parts where a listener expects perfection. Singers from a SE Asian country can pull this song off just like fine....
Rip Lil Peep
Lol, she's gonna miss a SHIT ton now
If she was 50yo and weighed 300lbs, she would never have gotten past the first interview with AI.
Well, if she was 50, she couldn't have even auditioned since the cutoff age is 28.
After listening to her sing, I can understand why she became a drug courier.
Do you have the Hollywood drama with her and Bailey Brown?
let me see if i can find it
