One of the hardest things to do as anglers is break down a new body of water. This is one of the top questions that I get and so I decided to make a video series devoted to this one thing.
Not only do I believe that I will become a better angler because of this, but I believe you will too!
BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

I like that you posted even if you didn’t slay it on the water. Too often do RUclipsrs only post when they have amazing days. That sets most people up for disappointment. Not only that, you kept your spirits high and didn’t give up. You analyzed what happened that day instead of saying “I don’t know what went wrong”. Learning from a day on the water is critical to improvement. Good work 👍🏻

My favorite part about this series is the fact that you're going to these bodies of water "blind" and keeping it real. There's a lot of channels that "doctor" their content. You don't, and that is commendable.

My favorite part is the mental fortitude. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been on the water telling my self “Do you even fish?” “Is this my first time?” “You have thousands in gear and tackle and that’s it”
The mind game is the toughest part of fishing.

My favorite part of this video is the fact that you failed to reach your goal but made it and let it realistic. In my opinion television and other RUclipsr’s are starting to ruin the real expectations of fishing - catching on every cast, or catching 50lb bags, etc. Thanks for keeping it real.

I like this idea for a series. It's great to see your process and strategies for breaking down a lake. My favorite part was when you mentioned how pinch points are obvious, yet great places to search for bass. I'm not fortunate enough to own a bass boat, so I do a lot of bank fishing. And bridges are my go to, especially in the summer when they provide shade.

I lost my dad in 2021 and he is the reason I LOVE fishing!! I’m the gal ( grandma) in a kayak. My shoulder cant handle paddling anymore so I just bought a small boat with a motor. I always love when the guys on the lake with all their fancy gear, fish finders, etc and they are asking what my magic bait is because they are watching me reel them in out of a little red kayak. I also say….” Dad gum it “ because my dad always used that expression! I’m watching how you handle your baitcaster reel because I just purchased my first one! Love when the lake is glasslike❤ where you are fishing. I also talk to the fish I catch.

As always, you taking the time to share what you’ve learned with us is very much appreciated . Favorite part, stressing that every day is different. Developing confidence in an array of techniques to target fish as they are “moving” depending on the specific conditions encountered on any given time of day or body of water. Much peace y’all.

Great to see you show the ups and downs of fishing. Not one of the channels that only show catching monster and all the top gear. Keep up the great vids have learned a lot from watching you. Going to start fishing some tournaments this year and breaking down lakes was one of the things i worried about the most. Thanks for the great vids and keep it up

My favorite part of any video you have done is the fact that you are learning while teaching about fishing, thank you for all of your content and allowing me to enjoy fishing when I can’t get out and fish myself. Tight Lines🎣

Love hearing the comprehensive breakdown of starting points and must hit points and your thought process on new water. It really helps my fishing because I'm starting to expand my fishing locations.
