I have arachnophobia but I love this guy's videos. He is so informative, calm, he treats the spiders with respect and it almost makes me want my own tarantula... almost (until I remember if it ever escaped I would probably freak out). I find in a lot of videos with arachnids (also reptile community seem more likely to do this) I have seen guys screaming in the camera or being super twitchy or treating them like toys so it is refreshing to see someone doing well by his critters.
Don't get me started on people doing "Experiments" with their pets. The ant keeping community (I keep ants) is absolutely awful for killing ant Queens in badly thought out "experiments".

Oh, I loved seeing the EWLs molting out! Thanks for showing us that.
I'd just like to tell you that your influence allowed me to convince my husband not to kill a large huntsman that had come into our house here in Australia. My husband is English and it has taken a while for him to come to terms with Australian spiders. He likes your videos though, and when I'm watching them on the TV he'll often watch for a bit, and is actually fond of one of my dwarf Ts. I didn't have time to help him catch the huntsman (bigger than Britney, but looked similar or same species), but by reminding him of your catchphrase he was able to catch the big beautiful girl (?) and release her. So, thank you for your influence... I don't think mine would have been enough! 😂😁

Hello Dave and Camera Lady. Amazing! It was almost as if she (mama) got out of the way so you could get the sac. It is so interesting the different reactions you get from your females when you remove sacs. I am wondering, I know you generally pair your spiders twice. Perhaps, since this is such a stab and go production with these guys, you could try and pair them more than twice? Maybe that would help get a higher percentage of fertility. Also, since this sac had some dampness on the inside, maybe mama knew and that is why she gave it up so easily. So intriguing. If only they could talk.
Thank you again for the wonderful video. This was an exciting one! Y’all take care of yourselves and each other. Stay safe and see you later this week. ❤🤠

I have watched a lot of your videos and throughly enjoy them. I just tried, I say tried to watch a different person’s spider video and got soooo mad. The guy was trying to rehouse his huge, beautiful spider but he was hollering, jumping around very anxious and poking and prodding the spider to get her in a clear plastic cup. The spider was in deep defense mode. A comment said the guy does this with only one arm. Too bad, the spider was terrified and trying to defend itself. His many attempts to get the spider in the cup almost smashed her legs several times. Grrrrrrr, I couldn’t watch the end😢😢😢
I’m not a big spider fan but your videos have given me a new perspective into spiders in general and I CAN watch your videos quite easily. Thank you for sharing your passion!❤

This was an awesome video, thank you! I really loved seeing the different stages of molting from the other nursery pot too. And your theory about the # of infertile eggs possibly being related to how quickly the “pokies” inseminate was also something I had always wondered about, so thank you!! I just love learning from your channel, Dave. It’s always interesting to me how spiders of the same species behave differently from one another, just when you think you have them all figured out…😆👌🏼

Hello Dave and Camera Lady, I want to say as most does I love the work you both do. I been a sub for a few months and even got my husband to watch. I have been considering getting one and even got him to pick out one he would like. But had to admit that it would not be a good idea for us to get for a few reasons. I am glad there are people out there like you and Tom Moran who shows the beauty in creatures that most people either runs away or kills on sight. So I will enjoy your videos as long as you are making them.

When you are dealing with egg sacks I really like the way it humbles you when taking care of arachnids or in this case tarantulas bc when I see babies it doesn’t matter how little or how many they are as with someone like me when you get into that diy experience especially since I am only a teen you can imagine it’s really hard to get spiders often even though I remind myself to not get to many at a time or underestimate the responsibility for these amazing and often misunderstood animals as I love mine very much great stuff keep it up 😊❤️💕🙏🕷🕸💯

And what you shoud not pickup. Thanks for amazing spiders and great care.

I learn so much from your videos. Not just about spiders but on scientific method and the absolute value of observation of your spiders. Without the observations and comparisons each egg sack would be hit or miss. I will never be a spider keeper but you have made me into a spider "appreciator". You know your spiders as individuals which I find fascinating. The more I watch your videos the more you surprise with the different behaviors within individual subspecies. Who would have thought that given peaceful calm life styles the spiders have the chance to experience life in a non threatening way. Food water shelter are provided so the brain can be turned to curiosity about anything and fear of nothing. Amazing camera work as usual.

Seems like every time I visit this channel... another stunning success!
If you haven't yet, maybe you should do a video on your worst failures, if any...
Seriously, that could be very useful for people starting out.
I see another post below, asking about Peacock Jumping Spiders. That could be a fairly spectacular "change of pace" video someday, and after the easy success you had with the Lynx Spider recently... looks to be somewhat closely related.. maybe Peacocks wounldn't be such a stretch to have success with.

I’m delighted to see another beautiful egg sac pull video, from The Beastie Room 😊🕷️
Yet again, wasn’t it just as well that you did pull it!? And now you have 66% of the eggs from the sac that you were able to save 🥰🕷️
That web work was so beautiful to see, with all the different stages of layering.
Thanks for also showing us the last wee ones you pulled a couple of weeks back 🕷️🕷️ they’re really coming along nicely 😊
Ohh, I’ve some great news myself Dave… Josie’s molted 🧡🕷️she’s been in premolt this past few weeks, and I’ve only seen her once in that whole time! She’s back in hiding now again 🙄 hopefully I’ll see her soon and more often for another while 😅 I can’t wait to see her new dress 😂😂 I’ve got her molt lifted and set to the side. Steve, what happens in nature when the eggs are infertile? Does the spider eat those eggs or do they just fall out of the cocoon once it's open?

Her webbing structure is gorgeous. Fascinating to see them go from eggs with legs to egglings (my word for that in-between eggs with legs and actual slings stage). Lovely video as always
