Turkeys aren’t everywhere actually and their pretty hard to actually kill. Yea sure the red fox doesn’t come as often as turkeys but don’t get fooled by the turkeys dumb brain, it’s still a tactical smart animal that can sense when predators are near. Plus turkeys have a specific season to hunt and red foxes are all season animals.
Turkeys are not doing as well as you think. Speaking from experience Southern Missouri used to be the number one turkey hunting destination on the planet but now there populations have dwindled dramatically due to unfortunate weather events like floods poor conservation efforts and an increase of predators due to the lack of predator hunters and a decrease of habitat. Trust me the turkeys indeed used to be everywhere but now I count myself lucky to see one
In pa they are pests but you will need a furtakers license along with a hunting license and you'll have to wait till they're in during trapping season which is never during turkey season
@@George-yd7cx do I need to add a , just so you can see what I was saying I was saying it’s illegal to shoot a fox where I live but if it was a coyote I would shoot it
Depends on if this is a spring or fall hunt. Spring: Haverst the Turkey , pass on the fox. The pelt will be to thin and no good. Fall: Take your pick. I trapped for years so one is money/food and the other is food.
As a hunter I would pass you need to hunt your intended species he or she is hunting as well and it's hunt being successful is detrimental to it's survival plus it looks like the fox is helping you by driving the Turkey's closer to you seems like teamwork makes the dream work in this situation if anything shoot an extra turkey for your fury friend
Turkey, with the fox I don’t want the fur that badly and I’m not gonna eat him. I like hunting but I’m not out there to kill stuff for the sake of killing stuff
Previous fur trapper here. Only in season. Here in kansas the bobcats have really hurt the fox population. He didnt make a move on the turkeys ? Must be plenty of mice
@@Tomato12944 Because I want the turkey, or the deer, first. If there is a chance for a follow up on the fox, or coyote, I would take it then. I also hunt coyotes during February. I have been hunting for over 40 years. I really don’t like killing animals I won’t eat. But I get that these predators need to be controlled so they do not decimate the turkey and deer populations.
I saw a opportunity for a 2 for 1 special hard to come across with inflation and everything 😂😂

Amen to that

Get both of them! 😂
This is the real answer.

@@ragewarfare1148cry lmao
Accurate!
Fox. They eat the Turkey eggs.
Turkey they eat quail and pheasant and every other bird eggs
And we eat the turkey, so what if he gets a few eggs
part of God's plan, it's called nature.
shoot, you don't get that opportunity very often. Turkeys are everywhere, come back tomorrow and get your long beard
👌
very well said

I’m not risking a jail sentence. Don’t know enough about fox hunting seasons.

pass did you not see those longbeards thats way more rewarding then a fox
You rarely see a fox like this though, you can come back tomorrow around the same time and there's a good chance you'll see the turkey again
Pass cuz that last turkey in the frame had at least a 10 inch beard I’m smokin that turkey
Pass illegal where I am and you rarely ever see them coyote though that’s a shoot
Thats a fox

In Ohio you better pass. I believe that fox season is not in during turkey season. I'm not 100% on that but maybe 89.5%.
Pennsylvania is the same, fox not in during spring gobbler season.
I think fox have a separate season in my state so pass. If it’s a yote though, broadhead incoming
A responsible hunter would only hunt what is season.
And they are both in season or else we wouldn’t ask
@@canadaintheroughtv
I wasn’t asking anything, that was a statement.
Both if possible
Depends on what your hunting, if your after deer pass.....
Pass because you dont have a license to hunt foxes.
Where this was you have to have a small games license to get your turkey tag and fox is under small game license. So they legally can shoot the fox
Pass, a fox is like an overgrown house cat. Where I'm from we have turkeys coming out our ears so let the fox eat a few eggs.
Turkey's are on the decline in most states.
I’m taking the turkey. They are hard to find where I live
Take both
Pass.
Not cold enough for prime fur.
He will be back
By the looks of that tail that fox is as prime as he's going to get 😁
Pass not what I’m there for he’s not bothering me or destroying my property ide let him go
fuck that hes running off my game take em out
Truth be told, probably both to far, be patient
Need a scope for turkey, Shotgun? Wtf
What?, Pass you got Tom’s in front of you 😂
I would get both!😂
I saw an opportunity for both
Id take the fox because otherwise next time you go for turkeys there might bot be any because foxes would kill them all
If it's not in season no, but a coyote on the other hand.
Only if fox season is in,check trapping laws in your state

The fox couldn't get the 🍇 and said that they must be sour 😂

Leave the little hunter alone 👍👍

Nah, wait til trapping season. In my state it would be illegal during that time of year anyways!
Get both
Pass. He's hunting for food to. Plenty of turkey to go around.
Not a fox if it was a coyote definitely
😂
Lol😂
Red fox
You know nothing
No it’s not a coyote!!!
🎉
See what's in season
Pass . Fox being a fox
If it goes for the turkey you want
Pass. You don’t need to kill just to kill.
Predator and prey species got along just fine before man came on the scene.
I don't think that very Many things got along with Mr Rex 😂
Pass, fur is out of prime during spring turkey season
Pass , pick a different one or two

Two for one at tesco
Depends are you hunting or killing
It’s illegal to shoot/kill a fox where we are.
any time i see a predator the hunt is quickly oriented towards them. This goes for humans as well.
Pass, per DNR
Pass, unless you're going to use it.
Leave both. Thats the laws of nature at work.
Pass, way to cool to watch, however a yote is not gonna get a pass
I've seen a few while hunting but didn't shoot them. I've had coyotes come in while I was turkey calling. They got shot.
Now now if it’s deer season it’s different he will never chase one ever again
Well considering it's never fox season in any state in the spring u pass
Well the fox has the right to hunt also!
Why shoot him😢, turkeys aren't yours, you both hustlers and should learn to share😂😂
Shoot no pitié fox
