Celine contracted a disease that affects 1 in a million people called Stiff Persons Disease. She probably won't be able to sing any more. So sad and unfortunately this happened to such an international treasure.
I was recently reading an article about her, those odds sound high but in reality, it’s more common than we realize, I absolutely hate she has to go through this, it sounds scary

Hi Cliff, Idk if anyone has mentioned there was one of these called Stars organized by Ronnie James Dio in 1985. It was some of the rock n roll musicians who wanted to do a song and formed a huge "supergroup" called Hear 'n Aid. It was amazing time to see so many people coming together on these projects to help Africa in the 80's. My mom, sister, a couple of my friends and I all went and did the Hands across America thing where they tried to form a line of people holding hands all the way across the country. In some areas it worked great, in others, not so much, but it was still really fun to take part in an event like that. It's sad no one does anything like this now, with social media, it could be extremely successful compared to the mid 1980's! 😊

The vocals are not nearly as impressive as the original but i commend them for doing this but honestly half these people would have never made it onto a record label back then. you actually had to have real vocals without autotune
