I'm kind of in the opposite place at the moment. I fluffed an interview the other day, and although I got lots of feedback and offers to take on more responsibility to boost my cv, I haven't read the feedback and I'd rather focus more on making music than getting more stress in work for the same money. Maybe it's my age. I think saying no to stuff can be just as powerful.
I think it goes beyond just saying yes to things, because a lot of us rarely get anything to say yes to. I hear people say "when you get invited to a party or a social gathering, say yes!!" But like, some people haven't been invited to a party or social gathering for years
@@joshuagall7252 I think it’s also about saying yes to your own ideas. If you think „I could do this thing“, stop arguing with yourself if you should, and just do it.
But that leaves out any opportunity for you not partaking in things you don't know that you even want to do. I see where you're coming from, but it can be quite humbling to recognize that we don't know ourselves as well as we think we do - and sometimes something we "think" we don't want to do, we actually end up really enjoying. (obviously you do you - there's plenty ways to live life as long as you're happy and spreading the love!)
@@joshjparks I know, I was just kidding mostly. The things I am offered to do are mind-numbingly boring, currently, for me, so my comment was a statement more so catered toward my life. Sure, if I was being asked if I wanted to waterski or hike up a mountain, or make music every other day, I'd absolutely say yes, even if it seemed scary and foreboding........ Have a good one Josh!
I love your videos so much, thank you for consistent uploads and all round goodness.

The spirit of adventure is evidently a calling from God.

Sorry Mozza, I will only say yes to the things that I actually want to do. Everything else is a Big Fat No

No you don’t get it if people just said yes to things they didn’t wanna do then there would be no rape
